@hunterallen48 by far? Dont say by far, everyone has different favorites...thats what makes Danny Boyle amazing and diverse. I think Trainspotting and 28 Days Later are his best. But all his films are top noch
The Beach is possibly the most underated film ever. Sure, its not his best film and not the best film ever. But its so interesting and so well directed and well acted it makes it great.
@uprightking That is a guy (forgot his name) in 28 days later that isn't in it for very long. If I remember correctly that shot pans up and it shows him better.
The only Dany Boyle movie I like is 127 hours and only because James Franco is great in it. I have the feeling that Boyle cares more about the music & effects rather than lets say cinematography. but your video is amazing xD
keep it up :)
you couldn't make a video with Gus Van Sant's movies , could u?
@DeathlyMasquerade wow i guess you don't pay attention to the great stories he creates? obviously not since the only thing you liked about 127 hours is james franco, don't watch/comment on this if you know nothing about film.
@rezablade117 wow you're really nice. good for you if you don't wanna hear another opinion appart from your own. I'm just saying that Dany Boyle is nowhere near as good as other directors and yes I think the only great and inspiring story he choose was Aron Ralston's. SM seemed a bit childish as for The Beach I'm not even gonna comment it. So bye and keep living your egoistical life , kuddos!
Danny Boyle is by far one of the best film makers of our time, and his films not only inspire me to make films, but to get the most out of life. Artist
Danny Boyle is one of my favourite directors. His movies are vivid, dynamic, explosive, colorful and vibrant. He is a master of his art and, in my opinion, a true genius. Thank you so much for this fantastic video.
A Guillermo del Toro one would be awesome as well.
I've been following these videos since you started but I have to admit I'm extremely excited to see what you do with David Fincher seeing as he's one of my favorite directors working right now.
@keesvdijkhuizen i love you for doing a tribute to danny boyle that's up to date, i thought my project took a long time you just make me look silly lol, congrats though
Outstanding, can't wait for the david fincher vid, also great choice with Moby for the music, and it would be sick if you made one for christopher nolan!
Love coming back and and rewatching this, one question I have for you is, since you're making all these [the films of] videos, do you have a single favorite director? Just curious :)
I actually squealed when I saw you had a new video. This is amazing, Danny Boyle is one of my favorite directors, and you have beautifully crafted his work, in such a simple but effective way, in less than 3 minutes, that I am just amazed. Keep doing what you're doing. Love it!
Hey Kees, I'm an editor myself and your age also, and I just gotta say that your videos have inspired me to create a lot of new things. And this video is just amazing with the songs you picked, that's a ridiculously good taste in music! Great editing! I love [the films of] series too! I hope we get to see one of Darren Aronofsky!
The films of spike jonze or the films of quentin tarentino possibly, since he has a lot too chose from.
