@jhnb12876 American rugby player running at 35 mph? Sounds more like driving. People running anywhere close to that would have a stash of Olympic gold and every record out there. In terms of baseball, only the best pitchers throw at that speed...and they DO NOT aim at the runner. Just like in all sports though, horrible injuries do occur, but baseball is not a particularly tough or dangerous sport compared even to football. Also, English football brings in far more than Baseball in N. America.
