@tjbayliss Personally, SGU didn't have a good enough start to go on. If they did what SG1 adn Atlantis did and have a really good first season, I could see them going at least season 5. But they had a terrible beggining with charecters that didn't improve untill 3 quarters through the first season, horridly shaky camera, and too dark to baryely see anything. Season 2 was better, but ti was to much to late.

this new stargate excels through music and the acting of a few people while the script, no offense ... it's just crap ... looks like some kind of mix between a sci-fi movie and some lousy soap. It really has potential but not with this kind of script.

@thedoctorlover17 Because after 10 episodes of ever series it is known as a "Mid Season" break up. SGU decided to release a DVD of the first 10 episodes "1.0" which conflicted them to make "1.5" for the rest of the seasons. This will most likely only be for season 1 though.
