@FantasyLuvrr The older guy is Rene Rifkin, who was one of the wealthiest men in Australia, and openly Gay. Caroline Byrne's (Cariba) boyfriend was his driver. It was never actually suggested that he was gay, but I guess at times he had to do things for the boss.

Caroline was murdered because she had gained too much incriminating evidence against Rifkin. Even though she never gave any indication that she would use this knowledge to cause trouble, she was deemed too big a risk.

@me1997able This a clip (the ending) from an Australian movie based on a real-life tragedy where a young model was thrown to her death off a cliff by her boyfriend in 1995. It took 13 years to prove it was not suicide, and the boyfriend was imprisoned in 2008. It is believed that he did it because he thought she knew too much about the businesses (both professional and private) of him and his boss, notorious stockbroker Rene Rivkin, and that he thought she would tell people.

Oh my God this is so sad. And Cariba is really an amazing, amazing actress. I think her performance in this movie was extraordinary. Has she won any awards for this? If not, she definitely should! She really brings life, (so to speak...) to the character and makes it seem that much more real, and that much more tragic.
