Wait a minute...the boomerang should go around the mark, in other words past it, and then back. Instead it went around the globe, so, technically speaking, PAST the mark, but not BACK. This is not according to the rules. I call foul.

The announcer never said anything about the boomerang having to go back the way it came, so there's no foul.

i found these video's doing a search of Laff-a-Lympics. i notice Scooby-Doo wasn't listed in your "tags" which probably would have helped me find it sooner since the cartoon series official name is Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics.
