I have just (Finally) bought an Xbox 360, in truth mainly to play this game, I love it! But have to say I'm hugely dissapointed with the gameplay. PES2009 on the PS2 is fantastic, best version of the game ever but although on the Xbox 360 the graphics and realism is better, the gameplay is rubbish, it just doesn't flow like the PS2 version.

Why they had to change it I'm not sure, afterall its the same version.

For me the PS2 version wins hands down on the FUN factor of playing!

I know it sucks mate. Erm well it depends what you want really, I have both games on 360, and they're both great in different ways. FIFA is more realistic, with more teams, stadiums and official licenses, but PES has more fun gameplay and I personally prefer PES's Master League to FIFA's Manager Mode. I wouldn't like to make the decision for you, cos it's a close one to call, check out reviews and that on the internet and see which you think you'd like more. Hope you enjoy whichever one you get!

FIFA has 30 different national leagues, all fully licensed. It also has a variety of licensed domestic cup competitions, such as the English FA Cup and League Cup. It doesn't have either the Champions League or UEFA Cup licensed but they are in the game, just without the official ball and patches etc. the tournaments are structured exactly the same way though, they're just not called the Champions League or UEFA Cup.

Ok mate no problem. I used to have a PSP ages ago and had PES5 for it and thought it was really good, so am sure the 09 version will be quite good, plus it's faster gameplay is better suited to a handheld system like the PSP. Have fun!
