Awesome video. That student is ofcourse a profesional. But you did good getting him stabil. What cool challenge to become an aff instructor. One of the most interesting videos I've seen here on the tube. Keep jumping- keep living. Hang loose. Forever.

Awesome job with some wild jumps! I have the upmost respect for all AFF instructors, because I put mine through hell teaching me how to skydive. Luckily they did'nt give up and neither did I and I finally did earn my A license.
Congrats! you must have been jumping hard to get those jumps in such a short period. I just got my D-Lic and i'm looking at doing the affi course sometime in the next year or so as well. Any suggestions for things to practice on the way there?
Outstanding! ...And outstanding video - Thanks for posting it! Congratulations on clearly accomplishing what you needed to do, and having the skills!! :-) I'm starting the course myself now at 8AM tomorrow (errr, ummm - THIS) morning, and can't sleep. I know it's gonna be a bear and I've got 15 years in and nearly 2k total skydives! Anyone who thinks this is easy THINK TWICE!!
CONGRATS on an incredible and outstanding accomplishment!
To become an instructor, you must have a certain amount of skydives, then must demonstrate your ability to teach skydiving skills and then must prove you have the ability to save the life of what would hypothetically be the worst skydiving student you will ever have. A wonderful job, but can't forget someone's life is in your responsibility!
Umm, yeah, I chased down the "student" every time, got him stable, and "deployed his parachute to save his life" every time at the correct altitude. Why wouldn't I pass? Let's see the video of you chasing down someone falling like a brick while spinning on their back.
that was really impressive - i forgot how on the ball AFF instructors have to be... not to mention brave! catching a spinning student and getting ur helmet kicked in isn't ideal but u did really well to always be at the student's side
the person who passed was the instructor with the white shirt on... not the 'student' who was being played by another qualified skydiver - demonstrating what situations an instructor could be faced with. did u even read the textat the beginning!?!
Awesome video and cool diving videos and pictures at the end.
