@robinkom Dunno bout G.I. Joe but Transformers are on the same level as this. These cartoons were so much better than MOST of what comes out these days. As much as i hate to admit it (since i like Japan), Japanese cartoons jus seem to be getting more and more artificial and shallow.
I think you will find that the cartoons of this era were far more genuine and down to Earth, even though they were fictional. They did and still do represent true greatness in cartoons. They are the Legends of time.
@MrTRENCHMEN Doc's entry under TV Tropes is "Badass Normal." Armed with fists, a blaster, his copious wit, a sword if he's lucky...and he's STILL keeping up with the other three.
@Allronix guess that's true. besides some of my favorite characters are the ones that have zero powers, and have to think there way out of a predicament.
ok as sum 1 who just turned 18 all i can say was that galaxy rangers kicked ass !!!! it was one of my favourites as a kid and i can still remember the intro song ,can still member the intro to captain planet too but who doesn't?lol
wow to preserve law and order across the universe. what tyrants! but, that isn't that say that whoever watched it also became a tyrant. on the other hand, i would guess that such a show would encourage obedient behaviour or even, though less likely, authoritarian behaviour. too bad.
these would roflstomp the power rangers

The animation was top notch for the time, much better done than G.I.Joe or Transformers.

@robinkom Still looks good. A lot of modern cartoons can't hold a candle to this.

Loved the show when I was a kid, woke up early every Saturday to see it and I think it would hold against allot of the cartoons from the 2000s.

Boomerang by cartoon network could put this on their line up along with Mask and others. By every one writing to them it may happen.
