I was born in Brixham and now live near London, when your small you don't really appreciate it much, but I love going there now its beatiful!

I live here too. Great part of the coast to live by, especially for the coastal walks and fishing sites.

Hubby and I both have fond memories of many happy family holidays there when we were young kids and we've been back many times with our own kids too. It has a special charm all of it's own,a lovely little place!

I thought Torbay was supposed to be a "sun-trap" - or "The British Riveria" to quote the Torbay Tourist Board circa 1975 - and Basil Fawlty...
I remember many sunny Summers in Brixham - maybe we were just lucky with the weather.

Well, when it is hot it is mostly very hot but we do get a lot of bad days, today for instance has been almost non-stop rain.
