I disagree, Mark Knopfler does indeed tend to talk through his songs(comment not being derogitory). Just watch some of his live footage, This singer is excellent and lead guitarist is awesome. I would pay good money to see this band.

What pickup is Wolfgang using??? his strat sounds very good!!

Wolfgang doesn´t know which pickups are assembled in his strat. It´s a fender strat that he has bought second-hand. More important for the sound are the amp, the speakers and his finger picking just like Mark Knopfler.
