  • No one has stated that Elenin has been totally disintegrated, but it was partially when it was hit by a coronal mass ejection on the 19th August and it's still very much on it's way past us and will be at it's closest to us on the 16th October at a distance of 0.24 AU (slightly closer than Venus) and will be 5 times fainter than the naked eye can see in a clear nights sky.

  • It's gonna move a lot slower across that view angle in my opinion. Keep watching. It's still coming. There's a lot of talk about elenin. The satellite was in my opinion a coverup for a small asteroid. To see the publics reaction to massive chunks of metal hurling toward the ground. It's all a coverup. For all we know these latest SOHO and stereo images could be from archives from previous years. Atleast background layouts. With an active sun in the foreground. Ya never know.

  • The Elenin tards are going to try and hold on to this thing for a long time...lol..after its long gone

  • nope. Elenin would be to the right of the Sun from the point of view of Stereo-B. Sorry.
