I just wanna select a computer that's gonna work good with Comcast Internet. I heard that it's not just highspeed internet connection that's needed, the PC that the internet is connected to, must be able to process the incoming infromation effeciently aswell.

@D4C00LGUY 1 Gb of RAM is most of the time not enough since i belive ur OS will take up to 3/4 ur ram (255 Kb avible @ the least) i highly recamend getting more (i have 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM and experience lag. when loading system intensive progams. use this as sort of a botom line So more u have the better. As for where to buy it is fairly cheap and can be found online @ computer parts stores as well as local stores that sell computer parts Best Buy is the most comen it could aslo be ur CPU.

i only use my laptop for the internet suddenly all of my HDD space has gone from blue to red were theres hardly no disk space left how can i fix this ?

there are many ways to clean up unnecessary files from your hard drive. I usually use this software called CCleaner, which is free, and it basically wipes out stuff u dont need on your computer. Or upgrade your Hard drive.

If that didn't work then another option would be to uninstall programs you don't really need... ex. if your using Firefox browser, why need Opera or Internet Explorer, or if you have Office 2007 why still use office 2003, etc... try that...

Hey tamethebea Win 7 is just like vista. It is vista but better faster and looks a little bit different not much but little.. You mean 8 gb to install?

it requires 16 GB on 32 bit computers and 20 GB on 64 bit computers.

@rich2rock yes mr rich2rock you can but it will show up at 2 drives like rather then just having a (C:) drive you will have another like a (B;) so when you are saving stuff make shure you pick witch drive you save to
