  • I'm thinking of buying a 1998 gmc sierra z71 with 302,000 miles. Only problem is high miles, it likes to skip, and some dents. It drives good except it skips and misfires. Its been in one collision with a van but was fixed with chevy 2500 parts. Also a few accidents when a tire flew off and dent the wheel well. Or when it hit clipped an embankment. The 4wd works great.
