  • hes not human. hes thom yorke

  • I have met him on the street in NY and I didn't even take a picture with him but did take a picture of him...I just didn't want to bother him... he was strolling down the street with his cute family :)

  • I´m quite decent at understanding spoken english, but I have really hard time catching what Thom says.. maybe its in a way he speaks :)

  • There's people just walking around behind him?!?!?!?!? If I saw him I'd take advantage of the situation

  • I love this Human~Being....

  • you suck cocks.

  • Stick to making music.....

  • @airbreather123 stick to your deadend job and shitty youtube comments.....

  • @airbreather123 Your Intelligence proceeds you.....!

  • People are just walking by like its nothing...id be like "holy shit hi!" jk id probably pass out if i saw him in person haha.

  • That awkward moment when someone would look like a hobo if he wasn't famous

  • Sh*t, I was about to tell you off for harassing him at the airport! Could not be further from the truth.

  • I know if Thom can do something, one thing,

    it is something called valor.

Good luck Thom, why waste it.

  • he looks like he could play a character in lord of the rings xD

  • did thom just say "you have to stay positive"?

  • Legend.

  • Cut carbon emmisions by 90%? Good luck with that.

  • is that thom yorke from the radio heads?

  • @FlaxeMusic I dunno man, I can almost garuntee you that once he dies, Yorke will be synonymous with the likes of Lennon and Cobain.

  • well zappa and barrett surely but even me and im a radiohead fan well tom just can't beat dylan

  • Good to stay positive Thom, but my fear is that human selfishness in the end will destroy us all. It's certainly happened in the past, even if we've gotten over it and moved on. On global warming, though, there might not be a next time.

  • @bernlin2000 my stance almost exactly.

  • Thank you and Merry Xmas- ornaments the shape of a ball on a Tree are Awesome:).>

  • cut your hair Thom!! plz

  • He looks like he came back from a war.

  • Calling him the worlds greatest musician is definitely an overstatement.

Let's be realistic here, he's not Zappa, he's not Barrett, he's not Mozart or Dylan. He's good, great even, but not legendary.

  • @FlaxeMusic He will be legendary in the next generation. For sure he's one of the world's most authentic living musicians.

  • @FlaxeMusic I agree with your first statement. but .....Zappa, Barrett, Dylan,? c'mon. Yorkes songwriting talent is a league above all 3 of those guys. This guys the real deal and he never writes the same song twice. Like most musicians , his foray into politics and social issues is difficult to put up with.

  • @2seasons2

Leagues above Frank Zappa and Syd Barretts songwriting talent?

I don't even know what to say, you're either infatuated with him to the point you're overstating his talent or you just haven't heard much Zappa or Floyd. Either way I heavily disagree.

  • @FlaxeMusic logical fallacy: false dichotomy, bro. just sayin'.

  • @FlaxeMusic heavily? lol.

  • 1:42 guy on the phone pretending to be talking must be actually recording Thom...

  • You're a fucking millionaire. Fix your teeth.

  • @xRichardbersteinx He is one of the most respected musical figures of all time, has millions of fans, is a millionaire (like you said) and has a girlfriend. Why should he be concerned with something as vain as that? He obviously isn't the kind of person who wants to be a cover-boy. Sounds to me like he has his priorities straight... plus his teeth are fine.

  • lol this guy probably has more relevant input to the talks than the people actually doin em XD jk

  • How to APPEAR completely hahahah only fans of Radiohead will understand this :)

  • @maurijr10

You are a ginormous faggot. Seriously. Die

  • @sonicfanatic4949 Just jealous

  • @maurijr10 It doesn't really take a diehard fan to look up Radiohead and see that they have a song called "How to Disappear Completely"...

  • @maurijr10 heh.

  • Thom looks so good without makeup

  • What a hell is luminary?

  • @MrZank9 lmao i wondered the same

  • What a moron. Go to Climate Depot dot com. A typical champagne socialist who thinks that he should jump on the latest 'Oh god, I'm so concerned about 'the planet'' bandwagon, without looking at the facts. Morons, the lot of them.

  • @packoftwenty Woah, that website is scary. Maybe you should stop going to that site. I'm pretty sure you should stop going to that site. Is it meant to be serious?

  • Thom York the luminary LOL

  • i cant watch this, or any videos like this, seeing him awkwardly avoiding the camera lens, i know thats the price you pay for fame but really it doesnt feel right, however its an interesting study on human behavior and reactions to public attention.

  • @SaucisseMerguez I agree with you, in this case it´s so clearly.

  • I love Radiohead but I fell asleep twice during this interview

  • i love when he said uptight

  • +++

  • Global warming is a crisis of ignorance. They've taught it to us in high school with incomplete figures and two movies (you know which ones) and now it's already in one of my architecture books in my first semester of college.

  • I wanna eat every fcking brainz of ppls who walk by thom...fcking senseless idiot...

  • Damn! Why did i have to be out of time that summer...

  • Not just the best singer/songwriter of our generation but a fantastic person who actually gives a damn!

  • Climate change has nothing to do with the human race . . as a Radiohead fan I am disappointed that Thom hasn't really looked into this . . our whole solar system is heating up . . . other planets at the same rate . . . start writing songs about spiritual awekening . . the soon to crash Euro . . the fall of society ensued by chaos . . lets wake up!!

  • @Rabskers NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HUMAN RACE? Climate change affects the entire world, the entire biosphere, and directly affects the human race. Wake up.

  • @parkourandguitars I think you have misunderstood me . . climate change has not been brought on by the human race but rather by natural cycles in the cosmology . . . read the hard facts in our universal science journals . . . don't get me wrong though, I am also in the field that thinks the human race is parasitic and will indeed bring about its own demise . . climate change would still happen whether humans were here or not . . . simple scientific fact

  • @Rabskers aren't we speeding up the process in some ways ? It's undeniable that the cities we build generate heat, change wind current, bring polution that rises in the air and we also destroy natural animal habitats. My point is, climate change might have happened without us but we're part of the problem and the fact is that with the technology that we have we should be able to find solutions to slow or even revert the process but most people don't seem to feel concerned about that.

  • Thom speaks the truth ^^

  • God just look at that look of pretentiousness as he says "very important to me". Never seen anything like that except as a joke.

  • This is probably the most information hes given a interviewer, ever.

  • He should wear an eyepatch and become a pirate.

  • @Varencilator Maybe you should get a grip and look beyond his issues with his eyes and listen to his fantastic music, the man is a genius...did anyone tell Mozart to wear lifts in his shoes, or Freddie Mercury to go straight? NO! They didn't you should look beyond the exterior of a human being and see their beauty from withi! Jonny Greenwood is a self proclaimed hermit, he is one of the most attractive men I have ever seen...and he hides behind his hair...

  • @iamapsychrn

lol, i listen to him like everyday. i just think its funny -w/o offense to anyone.

    he really is awesome :D

  • @Varencilator I meant no offense at all. I am very passionate about RADIOHEAD I too listen to them every day. I am a runner and I LOVE listening to their music and taking off on a good hard run. Apparently Thom has done a lot of new work on his own my friend from Oregon shot me a text about it. I read somewhere that he and Jonny Greenwood were going to do some orchestral music together. Have you seen the documentary called reflections on kid A documentary on Radiohead...check it out.

  • Thom Yorke turned down an opportunity to meet with Tony Blaire to discuss climate change. He doesn't care about climate change, he just cares about looking cool and rebellious.

  • @Stophocles shutup radiohead and thom yorke have always been one of the most shy bands, they dont like making public appearances other than when they are playing, and im sure if he wanted to look rebellious he could have done it at a slightly different place then a climate change conference

  • @Stophocles It's because he hates Tony Blair and doesn't want to be associated with him.

  • @somewhathumanlike That's a terrible reason not to meet with him.

  • @Stophocles do you really think they would meet and discuss something which would actually have any impact on Blair's government? The answer is no-Blair just wanted some publicity

  • @Caesarslegion1 That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. What publicity does Tony Blair need? He was the prime minister. Thom Yorke would have been the one getting the publicity. If anything it just looks like a humble gesture for him to extend the offer

  • @Stophocles are you joking? Prime Ministers need good publicity-that's why they always give their opinions on events around the world when it often doesn't matter what they say. Please lay off your obvious love of Blair and grow up for a minute.

  • @Caesarslegion1 You realize that prime ministers are the ones with the power in parliamentary systems right...? Sounds like you need to retake PLS 101. You also have no reasonable basis to assume I even like Tony Blair based on this conversation.

  • @Stophocles get the cock out yer mouth you dirty cunt

  • @Caesarslegion1 LOL. Grow up, kid.

  • @Caesarslegion1 Internet warriors are so funny. I bet you're 5'6 in real life and would run away crying before saying that to my face.

  • @Stophocles Describe in single words only the good things that come into your mind about... your mother.

  • @Caesarslegion1 Uhhh.. that comment is obviously far too clever for me.

  • @Stophocles Have you felt yourself to be exploited in any way?

  • <3 thommie

  • Look at all these people walking by the world greatest singer ( musician ). Having no idea who he is

  • @TheLordHodne "the world greatest singer ( musician )" Let's not go nuts here.

  • @Raiener

Hehe, I know, I just like to exaggerate whenever it's about Yorky. By whom do you think can bear such honor?

  • @TheLordHodne yeah, they should have totally given him blowjobs for he's so great. or what?

  • @erghtrfgh

nailed him down with some ropes and raped him silly

  • @TheLordHodne that made my evening thanks

  • @TheLordHodne I think you did not exaggerated at all...He really is the greatest musician in the world. (Please excuse my broken english)

  • @TheLordHodne whatever the reason may be, i dont think thom being so reserved and modest would enjoy the paparazzi attacking him like a pack of wolves, lets keep it that way, i like modest celebrities.

  • @aeorta5

As I say to all celebreties: They know exactly what they went into.

  • @TheLordHodne It´s like saying "blame yourself that you´r an alcoholic". You knew what you did...

  • @TheLordHodne SHAME ON THEM!

  • @TheLordHodne In this case I'd say they actually probably have more important things to do.

  • @LanceDirk

Really? My point really was how passiv they are, while I probably would have gone nuts if I saw him, random like this

  • @TheLordHodne I would instantly glomp him if I saw him in person.

  • @TheLordHodne You know, if I was there and saw him, I would walk by too. Not because Thom Yorke is not worth fawning over, but because I think he would prefer not being a distraction.

  • @Francium5

I would follow him everywhere. Yes, even the restroom

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLordHodne That's quite a far-fetched statement.

  • @TheEloeo

    People seems to agree, though

  • :) !

  • omg i remenber this, i was on the subway and he was by my side and i told him he resembled thom york and he said "who the fuck is that? could you give me some coins?" and i did. That bitch owes me.

  • Comment removed

  • @4Brownie4 I wish Thom Yorke owed me money...

  • @4Brownie4

Haha I doubt that really happened... Just saying.

  • @4Brownie4 Wait, THOM YORKE, THE GREATEST MUSICIAN ALIVE, OWES YOU MONEY?!?1 HOW THE FUCK DID THAT HAPPEN!?!?!?!

  • thom yorke looks insane BUT then i listen to in rainbows and realize that yeah, he's fucking insane. radiohead is dope.

  • Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I was expecting Thom Yorke to float in or appear in a cloud of smoke or something- you know, something that is *real* magic, not this sorry excuse for a spell. He isn't even wearing a cape or a robe.

    I am disappoint.

  • So now i can't find @GlenMuse975 his comment. Jolly good.

  • 2:18 OMG!!! IS RACHEAL????

  • Pretend that something's happened when it hasn't... - truth/honesty.

  • What. a. babe.

  • Hear Hear, there are talkers and there are do'ers.... the ones in the suits are in most part "JUST" the talkers and there are far far too many of them. In the end they delay the do'ers and take all the credit for the final outcome, get awarded some extortionate figure, retire and pass the baton onto another talker instead of a do'er.

    End of!

  • He is weird attactive that's charm.

  • Comment removed

  • @signogun that shows your immaturaty

  • I hate it when the highest-rated comment is a response to another comment.

  • Comment removed

  • @hanl9889 I hated when highest-rated comments have nothing to do with the video.

  • @hanl9889 cause then u haved to scroll down and find wat they replyed to then by the time u find it (or dont) the videos ovr and u have to click replay

  • wow, never seen bono without his shades on.

  • @SiameseChemise manlier than you

  • i found it disturbing that the people are passing by thom yorke, i would jump and shout my top songs from radiohead to Thom

  • @phitieuden because you're a fucking cock thats why

  • @SiameseChemise the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @phitieuden you sound like a cunt so do everyone a favour and fuck off

  • @SiameseChemise i don't want to argue with a mindless fool who only swear for no reason, and also has no life

  • @phitieuden why are you still replying then? FUCK OFF

  • My slightly uneducated viewpoint is that it's arrogant of us as humans to think that we can do so much as to destroy the entire ecosystems of the earth that have been along for so long and endured several mass extinctions, etc. and rebounded to be better than before. The earth, by the way, works in cycles of climate change. It does it on its own, but we want to take credit. Kinda arrogant, humans, kinda arrogant.

  • @luckyjinxer Why shouldn't emitting gargantuan amounts of poisonous gasses into the air, trapping radiation, and thus warming the planet cause some deviation from such a natural cycle? 99 percent of all species that ever lived are now extinct; their demise by competition, those said cycles, virus, asteroids etc. So we take it that adaptation must a little ineffectual in the short term. This cause of warming is surely distinct from those previous, since none before us did that.

  • @LoPinkMoon I'm pretty sure I said I'm not educated to the numbers and stats and all that. Just an opinion based on the fact that earth goes through cycles of climate change on its own. To be honest, I think there are better reasons than climate change to switch from outdated fossil fuels and switch to another source of energy if the tech exists.

  • Oh I wish tesla would have been in with his inventions and we would all be driving cars that are fueled by water... free energy....lolz...I don't believe we pay for energy...what a fucking joke...

  • life's little game. Living in a large city creates more polution and carbon emitions by idling between lights and for dump trucks to sit and pick up all the trash that builds up. In that trash is plastics made from petroleum. So to live in the suburbs and drive all over the place may be less polluted rather than cramming everyone together.

  • huh ehuh what?

  • lmao that the top comment has 209 thumbs up. so would i lol

  • Bum Yorke.

  • Wondering if he FLEW there with a kerosine eating plane and wondering what HIS ecological footprint is? Am glad he was there though as that obviously solved the prob now (sorry for the sarcasm)!

  • @middlewave1975

Geez. You imagine one guy there and now would solve the problem lobbies mounting back to the 1920 have generated?

And it would have to be Thom Yorke as well?

Single handedly?...There's so much to go through.

Obviously even you don't realise how clean energies and higher science in electrics and physics would do as an alternative to the present.

All we know about is petrol, pollution, money and delusion.

I admire your sarcasm, but sometimes even sense tends to be unrelastic.

  • @middlewave1975

    Also,I understandyou're sorry for the sarcasm,you probably might not have understood it thoroughly.If I do,that is...^^

Partly is our sole experience it would seem to me.

    Try to keep up...=)

  • Bullshit! Of course Climate Change is real, it's happening, right now as we speak. I have even more respect for Thom now I know that he's so actively involved with these things. He and all others like him actually care about my generation and generations to come. They care about the future, the long term. It means a lot to me and all other young people. Peace.

  • @angel0072856 Yes for you it's a scam because you dont see the effects first hand, but thousands of people around the world would beg to differ - the islanders of Tuvalu for example. Theres big money in the green economy, just like there is big money in oil, but please divide yourself from that side because it detracts from the truth. Money clouds the vision of both sides... If it's all such a scam then why is Exxon paying millions to fund junk science reports??

  • @cojanti PR move - if ignorance is to prevail Exxon would rather direct it in their favor. Educate yourself on the planet's evolutionary history. Climate Change has been a reality as long as there has been a planet earth. Major warming and cooling periods have occasioned mass extinctions and great ice ages all before a Hummer or Exxon existed. Logic dictates climate change is real. Logic also dictates humanity is irrelevant and insignificant. Green products: bad for our health and too expensive.

  • @dawkinsno1fan Of course climate change has existed for as long as we've had an atmosphere - whats different this time is the rate of change. And yes, if you zoom out humanity is insignificant, and the earth will recover long after we're gone. But that argument also justifes murder and suicide. The truth is we're here, now - we have evolved into concious beings. The world and it's problems DO matter and we should change our actions to create a better future.

  • @cojanti Thanks for not getting personal. I understand where you're coming from and agree with your sentiment. The problems of the world are problems of human behavior. It is clear to see you cannot regulate human behavior to a conclusion. If this is influenced by man we can do nothing about it, though I do not agree with your position on rate of change. Too much variability across too long of a timescale to make that statement; and rapid climate change has been evidenced in the past. Thanks.

  • @dawkinsno1fan Thats fair enough - it's my belief that human influence is considerable, but I may be wrong! There's just so much smoke - so many vested interests in both ways that we can never be sure of any truth. The green economy is certainly a joke - all this endless junk repackaged with an 'eco' label because it's made from recycled plastic.

But all that crap aside - if we were to start looking after our environment properly, the benefits would be huge. Our ecosystems deserve it. Thanks

  • @cojanti Indeed. Just think of what we could accomplish if we were able to have civil discourse and exchange of ideas like we did without personal attacks and threats of violence. Cheers!

  • @dawkinsno1fan Very true! So often people merge their being and their beliefs into one so that every question becomes a personal attack. I like to think that other people's opinions show me another perspective that I've yet to consider - an opportunity for growth.

When you find someone who has no room for another perspective, then they have no room for growth. But when you find open people, it's refreshing and hopeful. Fear makes blood flow away from the brain!

Thanks and have a good day!

  • @angel0072856 why would they teach it in schools if it hadnt scientifically proven over and over again...

  • café

  • ed grimley rulz

  • god he do drugs, i want too. not tom yorke, good for the cause. heroin please..

  • god i love him

  • Someone should remind little Thom that the British Empire has shrunk to nothing and it is bankrupt and this fantasy he entertains will finish off what is left of Britain!!

  • @EscapeNewJersey It's ridiculous to say that we "can't afford it". We CAN'T afford the rising price of oil. We CAN'T afford a climate catastrophe. I recommend you consider the reality before entertaining fantasies of your own.

  • @JorshItUp LOL, what a joke! This entire climate lie is just a ploy to harm the USA. This is why nobody puts pressure on Communists like China who pollute far more!! It has already been proven by intercepted e-mails that the scientific community concern global warming has been lying global warming and bullying honest scientists all this time!!!

  • @EscapeNewJersey You really have no idea do you?

  • @JorshItUp I have accurate information, you have flawed and dishonest politically correct information.

  • @EscapeNewJersey Of course, and it's not as if America is a highly consumerist country, which relies on China to feed its corporatist economy. It doesn't surprise me that you, as an American, are more affected by such corporations who claim, rather biasedly to support their own ends, that climate change isn't happening, or isn't because of human activity. The vast majority of this minority of "honest scientists" that debunk it are employed by oil companies and corporations.

  • @JorshItUp It has been proven by the by exposing secret e-mails that the global warming is a lie and was promoted by liberal scientists to promote their own liberal agenda! This is a fact!!

  • @EscapeNewJersey They prove nothing. If anything, they say that a few scientists were engaged in shenanigans. That doesn't debunk the entire theory, as there is much more evidence than that. The news reports on those emails were highly sensationalised, and exaggerated. They only discussed merging some evidence, and that doesn't mean the figures and wrong. Please, read around on the Internet about the different evidences that have been collected on the matter.

  • he look old, good thing that god never dies

  • the entire band is a lot smarter than people give them credit for. many people assume they're ignorant due to rock star stereotypes

  • I would scream Thom Yorke!! and the Feint on the back!

  • I luv his english accent. I luv those windmills

  • Nirvaaanaa.. no more than 176 cm. I am 187 pure hotness, Big boobs so what.. LOL jk.. Blonde destruction lol. BTW i hate to be tall, but so what. He (Thom) could fit in my pocket (and i wish he did lol) And he is not Bono (who is a moron). This guy (Thom) has some brain cells. He knows what he is talking about and he means it. If you read this Thom, go on! Dont give up, i know what u r talking about. I made my parents throw the shit into separate thrashbins.

  • such a classy guy

  • Stupide question... How tall is TY?

  • @Nirvaaanaa 5' 5".

  • Ok u r right i was a bit ignorant when i said "no clue". I know he is not stupid:P I just dont like when famous people start to talk like this, it usually ends up wrong, although they mean it right. They dont know how morons work:P. And i told i think he is right. But most people react the wrong way and will call him a jerk. I like him a lot and i am afraid he is becoming Bono (who does good things but is so jerky that more people hate him than people who love him) I am worried about him:P
