  • The second was really bright. I still like my COAST and Led Lenser lights for my number one choices. For the price in Lowe's, they are not bad. Check out my page dor the T7. I am gonna do a short video of my HP7 real soon, so stay tuned :)

  • Why are surefires so expensive in comparison to other top brand flashlights (Fenix, Jetbeam)? What makes them think they can charge $120 for a 40 lumen flashlight?

  • @SubtleMachete Because people buy them at this price!

  • @SubtleMachete Better quality ie. Not Chinese made

  • @Sassymui8

Most chinese made products are crap but it does not mean that ALL chinese products are crap. China manufacturers are good in supply and labor. What lacking is QC so those manufacturer like Fenix and 4Sevens have all those 3 that is why you can say that they are good quality lights

  • @SubtleMachete

There are many factors that give a light its price. I still do think surefire are a bit overpriced but still.

Why buy a Rolex when you can get a normal watch that will also tell you TIME? its the same pattern. Surefire lights are not your ordinary flashlight. It's a Tool for the LEO's. It's a Treasure for collectors. It's a Jewelry that give light for those who want to show off. Its a REVOLUTION!!!

  • @angelc0 Surefire's are less expsenive now because of the currency rate, while the Chinese light prices have gotten expensive.

  • I have carried my 4yr old E1L that is only rated at 25 lumens(the new one is 45 and dual output) everyday and it still works perfect. Even at only 25lumens is is bright enough to light up an entire house from the street(I used to deliver pizzas).

Be wary of other lights that are rated higher lumen than Surefire as Surefire measures light coming out of the lens after the reflector, when other manufactures measure lumens created at the LED. Kind of like gross vs net.

  • É POSSÍVEL INFORMAR A QUE DISTÂNCIA SE ENCONTRAVA DA CASA QUANDO FEZ O VIDEO?

    OBRIGADO.

  • this is the video i was looking for.. thanks sibbbley great review

  • Surefire does not drop their prices...

  • These flashlight can light up the world. I'm planning to get the E1L or E1B, but it's too expensive. I'll just wait until price is drop.

  • just got it today, and its the bessssssssssssssssssssst

  • im confused, the e2dl is supposed to go to high beam first, then low beam? please explain thanks.

  • The video was edited to show the E2DL's low setting first, before transitioning to high.

My E2DL does indeed go 'high' first.

  • Can these flashlight handle rechargeable batteries such as the El1, LX2 etc? Also, can I use different batteries instead of surefire batteries.

  • @lilcrazyaznboy I don't know if you can use rechargable batteries, but it can take other brands of lithium batteries, such as duracell, panosonic and energizer. Other brands not only might not work, it will void the warranty and can damage the flashlight.

  • I love it when the E2D goes on high. It's like "HUZZAAAAAH!!!!" lol

  • Gotta love that E2DL!

  • 5/120 lumens on the E2DL...nice! Gotta love the SF diffuser too.
