  • This show was called Watermark.

  • so that's what liquid would sound like with tenors i liked your rendition of it by the way, very.. different

  • what was the title of this show?

  • Wow that was awesome. My only complaint is I'm sooo tired of hearing other bands warmup during these performances! Jezzz...but yeah, great job again.

  • Your opener is in our show this year, "liquid" right? anyway, one of our directors has worked with the cadets who played it and our color guard coach was in the cavaliers. Our show is "The Illusionist" you should check it out. Oh, I got to Fort MIll High School

  • Nice rendention of "Liquid." I am the Assistant Drum Major at Fort Mill High and our show has "Liquid" as its opener....That was very cool....Good luck this season!!!

  • I wish our school had the funding and leadership wando has. Most sc band people hate wando because they're good at everything. Everyone makes all-state. they make up the top band at furman band camp. they win all the competitions. i'm sure if our school had the money wando has, we could be equally good. :(

  • It's not about money it's how hard the students are willing to work.

  • The leadership at Wando has definitely an affect on there success because the people leading them are really good. But money isn't a factor. How could money hep a kid make all-state?

  • Providing sectional instructors.

  • more staff

  • truly incerdible percussion.

  • words can not express that performance. this band showed up and showed out great job.

  • my god, those are constant complex movements! My band has to step it up to beat you guys next year! (I know this is before 2007 people.)

  • we so deserved to win this year

    lexington was AMAZING!

  • i like ya'll music

i still think b.springs should have

    gotten 1st :/

  • well done guys

    yall deserved to win

    our show last year sucked!

    -mellophone (Summerville)

but...you will have some competition this year..

we r pretty kick ass! (except when we were in Florida)

  • i love my band! we are amazing despite what other people say!

  • WoW that was unbelievable! I cant believe at one point I was going to play for a marching band that good congrats to Mr. Nafpleotis

  • Well uh...Big T, you just confirmed why you were hot. You name implies that you are big! Therefore, under all those layers, of course you are hot. Plus, you are moving. Certain scrawny and statitc people in the pit were frozen to a candy cane crisp.

  • I suppose on this particular page it is taking a long time to post my comments due to the fact that so many impulsive Wando-bashing brats have posted a slew of nonsensical criticisms, some involving as much vulgarity that can possibly be crammed into one sentence. You see, a moderator must weed out the useless comments.

  • That night wasn't just so cold that it affected people's minds, but it also screwed all the pitches up. If you listen carefully, you can hear that the pit, brass, and wodwinds( if you can even hear them at all), are all tuned differently.

  • come on, it wasn't that cold. I remember I felt hot during the show. maybe it doesn't effect me as much because i play drums and not a wind instrument. Also, Wando's bass line rules, especially that big 4th guy ;P

  • that was absolutely amazing, espscially for it to be as cold as everyone else is saying.and i like the use of madea from the 05' show in this show also.i don't think we could have 1st place potential at any degrees lower than 55 cause people would be complaining too much.haha.but we've never played in that low of temperature.great job wando!

    -white knoll baritone

  • <----- Wants to move to Mt. Pleasant.

Alas... Stratford drumline would fall apart without me.

  • Ah, which part of the drumline are you? I might have seen yiu before!

  • hey alex i figured i'd leave you a comment...you have some good musicians..it sounded really good considering that it was apparently freezing...get the props off the field so your 300 members can actually march and do cool forms instead of making boxes the whole time...but hey they were great looking boxes..lol

  • yeah it was soooo... cold that night!!! But we kicked soooo... much ass!!

    -trumpet!!(wando)

  • Who is the drumline that is warming up before the Wando performance begins?

  • god it was so freakin cold in those uniforms.

    -trumpet

  • I liked the use of the woodwinds a bit better in 2005. I keep waiting for their moment to shine like the brass and percussion (because I KNOW they CAN indeed). However, there's no denying that this is a top tier band across the board. Thanks for sharing your hard work and talent with those of us that get to sit back and enjoy it.

  • Wow...I can definitely see how you they beat us.. FMHS Trumpet. <3 Unfortunately, this is the first time I'm seeing their show. =( But Good Job!

  • I loved the Eqilibrium show in 05 but Watermark in 06 was even better..

  • Do I need to say more?

  • it was freezing that night, holy cow.

They sounded unbelieveable for it being like 15 degrees. Great job Wando.

  • OMFG SO MANY PEOPLE!

  • YEAH! WANDO HIGH SCHOOL.

They should have put a AFJROTC event on YouTube.

  • *claps*

  • ROCK ON WANDO! I miss you...college is so much harder...

  • hey great job and the colorguard work is very clean keep it up

  • wakka wakka doo doo, yeah! these marching people rokzor.

  • i was sooo there and that was amazing!! they really did deserve first!! im glad they won!
