I remember first hearing this song at a school party in Grade 7 back in the mid 70s. I had never heard anything like it before in my life, but I loved it the first time I heard it and still do to this day (I’m 50 now). A classic!
Thank God for Youn Tube!!! I have been exposed to some of the greatest music out there that I never knew existed thanks to the idiots that control the music industry here in the States. Had it not been for You Tube I would never have heard of Mott the Hoople, Slade, Sweet, and other tremendous UK groups!
freedome of expression and experiment of music and fashion and dance in the early 70's the idea for greace flim and saterday night feaver flim came from these song's playing in the british fun ride fair park's, the K.C SUN SHINE BAND AND THE SWEET BAND as the institute's had the big cam's and stalking from the the maningham park fun ride fair's to the ritz ballroom dance hall on manigham lane in bradford city
awesome video and song. Thanks for sharing. reminds me of Wayne' World movie. Tia C. was singing the hell out of this. lol if that was her actually singing in the movie. : ) what a classic song/group. Never gets old. Still blaring it and dancing around.
Mick Tucker was an amazing drummer theres a track called man with the golden arm & he plays solo for bout 10 minutes solid. Mind you they were a brilliant band all 4 of them they dont make like this anymore!
Ever since I watched This is Spinal Tap I can't look at glamrock with normal eyes :-) But this is really one great song. The beginning of this song is unsurpassed
I remember their March 1975 concert in La Crosse, Wisconsin and Steve said "She could kill you with a wink of her twat." Awesome! Still one of the best 5 first concerts I ever saw. The others were KISS, RUSH, Cheap Trick, Iron Maiden.
@AceOfHeart2012 - I attended UW-La Crosse 81-85. I'm curious, 1975 was before the La Crosse Centre was built -- in which La Crosse venue did they perform?
im 18 but i just randomly got an urge for this song hahaha

I agree, nickster182. Fantastic! How I've missed the sound of those snarling guitars.
