You have to see this in the context of other episodes of the show at the time. Each comedian would begin his routine and the contestant would simply sit there with a straight look on his or her face, struggling not to laugh, which at times would be extremely difficult, and then they'd burst out laughing and lose the round. THIS contestant has a very different way of wanting to win. If you notice, the first comedian starts and then completely ditches his whole routine because of the contestant!
