  • when he made the flip book did he record it flipping or took a picture of each page

  • @3dbay I took each page with 8mm movie film camera.

  • @Deburuman thanks im going to make a animation

  • @Deburuman

ok :D that is really simple

  • is there a way I could make an animation for free? I am trying to make a Japanese cartoon or "anime".

  • @darklordprophecy

    watch?v=lmt6aMIuHC0

    watch?v=8vefpBD_Z34

    i draw them with ms-paint.

and you can make 'anime' with windows movie maker.

  • Cant you just use windows movie maker?

  • @PsyKittyKat How about using windows movie maker in 1988?

  • i dont have patience. guess its not ment to be

  • Now let's animating.

  • i understood it all

  • Why do i need camera to film real world for making drawings?

  • 1) This was made in 2006. They have better methods now, such as drawing pictures in photoshop and then using something such as windows movie maker to compile all your animations together

2)Unless you are doing claymation, I would suggest something such as scanning your real world drawings into the computer, then using something such as windows movie maker to compile your animation.

    hope this helps :D

  • No, I made it in 1988. Do u make deifferance making date from upload date?

  • @TheUndalaOceanlane NOTHING is better than TRADITIONAL animation. Although it may "look better", traditional animation is the BEST way to animate by FAR!

  • @ShowTehFroob You use the 8mm to take still pictures of each frame but it's recorded on film so when you playback it's animated. Ppl used to mount their pictures on a board w/ a lite & use the frame-by-frame mode to capture each pic in sequence. This was more necessary before desktop animating was made so accessible to the general public. U could still do the same now by mounting your pics and taking each frame's pic with a digital camera on a tripod and upload them to a movie maker program.

  • Cool! I am gonna make mine now.

  • Should you do voice acting first? or the animation?

  • first I animated on many ways.

  • @TheKaprys You should do the dialog first so that you can match the animation to the voice (by timing it), but everyone does it differently. Obviously one way is easier than the other though (if you're an amateur animator who doesn't know the basics), then recording the voices afterwards would probably be way easier than trying to time it by voice.

  • its japaneese, they are autors of anime

  • Hmm...

    Good Tutorial.

Guess I will learn from it.

    Thanks for uploading it.

  • hey so i was wondering

    for an animation

would it work to just record it on video and then do it in one take and then just edit the video so i take out everyother frame to make it look like an animation?

    or is that something different

    thanks

  • almost of this video was taken by 8mm movie camera.

when I remake on my PC, using Video Studio (Software), never using video camera.

therefore all parts of this video file are animation.
