What is the point in using a trowel vs. a large drywall knife? I have been doing remodeling for a good many year and the least favorite part is mudding and sanding the drywall. I am always trying to find faster and easier ways of doing it. Thanks!

@usmccampbell23 You can use either or, but i feel that with a trowel there is a lot less pressure on your wrist. Especially when working above your shoulders.
