its actually just as tough as the 08 and the 08's screen is smaller by like 1 cm but it has much better quality. the keyboard is actually much better and the lx looks like a shit stain compared to the 08. just shut the fuck up please. ty.

I own the 08 and its bas ass the themes are ok but the video recording the lx does not have is better and much more entertaining seeing as how you can upload the video directly to your myspace. plus it feels better in your hands than the rough older looking version of the back cover the lx has!

it helps that its a tiny bit bigger cuz then it's easier to text on.

if i were to choose, i'd choose the lx.

it's easier to text on, has a better screen, carries more memory, and has a better battery.

definantly gekko/aspen. That think is so cute. there are so many reasons why you should pic gekko ova lx. Lx has that gross looking camera on the back and gekko/aspen has that round camera and it looks simple. so you should definently get the GEKKO/ASPEN

they pretyy much the same except lx has a bigger screen and more tricks. gekko has less tricks u can customize and has 2 mega pixel camera and lx has 1.3 megapixel. if u want an expensive phone get the lx but if u want a cheaper one get the gekko like me

I got the sidekick 2008. "gekko".

i recommend that. you may just loose some size on the screen but its worth it. think about it you cant really customize the lx. Blue-->Brown. thats gets boring. Get the Sidekick 08.

Get the 2008 (which is the gekko but they decided to call it the 2008). I was going to get the sidekick lx but then I was on the internet and saw the gekko/2008! It is supposed to have a 2.0 megapixel camera, video and HOPEFULLY youtube!!! But really it is up to you! Hope I helped! :-)

Personally, I'd get an LX.

The gekko may be new and cheaper but it's somewhat ugly and is the "cheaper model". I think that if you're going to buy a sidekick, you should go 'all out' and buy an LX. They're coming out with an OTA video update for the LX btw =]

the camera alone, makes the new sidekick a better option. the ONLY thing that's better about the lx is that the screen is bigger.  definitely go for the new sidekick! it's slimmer, more customizable and just..newer!
