Building Bionicles was my childhood. I still have my collection. I pretty much collected every single one released. Built them, took them apart, built them again etc. I collected the movies as well. But I've stopped since it became Hero Factory

Bionicle was one of the most epic storylines in history. I grew up to this. My favorite was the bohrok. My childhood was completely shattered when they candles it and replaced it with hero factory. BIONICLE IS IRREPLACEABLE.

yes its sad i had very rare and non rare bionicles and lots of stuff that were non bionicle but could be used as bionicle pieces...i will miss bionicle...but it got to detailed and the story got out of line not forgoten but messed up..............hero factory is the same design as the original design of bionicle so dont call it stupid and ghey. bionicle simply faded like the song.....................

It obviously has to end somewhere. You can't keep any series going on forever. Plus for people new to it, it gets harder and harder to recap on what happened previously. There wasn't much point in it continuing as it was already nearing the end and has been going on for about a decade.
