  • you must be one of those people who could never make it in college, don't hate on peolple work hard to make thier dreams come true, by the way what do you do for a living

  • You could network in college

  • nah you learn stuff in college its really difficult to learn about elsewhere. especially about things like history, which is hard to find decent sources for. I do think that you can get a lot of education through life too though, but its just a bit quicker at college I reckon. I'm not into money but I'm into learning and at the end of the day I think unfortunately people value what you say more if you get a degree to back it up. Also you dont have to do maths....bein smart isnt just about that.

  • Most the people I know who went to vocational schools make more money than college grads.

  • If you were that "stupid" as you said, you wouldnt speak with such eloquence as you do... Fuck algebra and all this math crap, choose something that you dont have to study that kinda crap...

  • I dont agree with you AT ALL... You might not be good with math and that kind of shit, but if you choose something related to psicology, filosophy, and kind of course like that, Im sure you would do great!!! You are putting yourself down saying your not smart... I think its actually a waste, cause you could make a difference... You are young and maybe one day you want to have a family, and since you are smart and have all the skills to do great, you should give it a second thought...

  • A lot of people put way too much pressure on you to go to college. And I have seen a lot of parents who actually put their children down if they don't go to college and I think that's sad, peer pressure is something else.

  • im graduating in 4 weeks, and im sorry jaylove- even though i like you. I have to be honest in saying that this video is just a crok of complete and utter bitter bullshit.

  • Homie, I went and I'm still doing "poor man's work". lol In my experience, honestly college it's self doesn't get you all the money and nice things. It's your affiliations, acquaintances or who you network with, I busted my ass in college and have nothing to show 4 it but a huge dept. I met some amazing ppl and learned some great habits but non of those things have proven lucrative yet. I think to each his own. I thought college was 4 me but I was mistaken. I'm way too creative for constraints:)

  • I know you ain't telling anyone a college education isn't important. Looking at your "living" area, it probably would be more beneficial for you to go to college. If you are gonna sit there and tell me that I can make plenty of money with a high school diploma, you are out of your dam mind.

  • Dude. I wanna send you some links but youtube won't let me link. Search up "A Voice for Men . com" and check out some of the articles. There's reasons why men aren't in college anymore, and how its become useless, thanks to feminism. Check the article "Bias against men expands education gap" and "The question they never ask". College is useless man, save your cash and work hard.

  • Jay bruh i been a Subscriber awhile now. After watching you kinda right but not, College Can be Overrated and Fucking frustrating, but Black Ppl Came a very very very Long ass Way. And u Talk about In one Video How Majorities own all the Buisnesses and Hiring within. Its crucial that A.A. Go to College become Buisnessmen Dude Open your own Buisnesses. Change

  • boss im strugglin too but you should try. If you establish urself in a career more people will be willing to listen to you. Brother just go get a degree you can do it. You are smart real smart I've waqtched your other videos and you make a lot of sense. Go to school man. You will learn more. I am in the same boat as you but it's worth it not for anyone else but you'll be glad later on that you did. or at least try your hardest g. 1 love

  • @ShottaBoyProduction Thanks for the encouragement, you made me decide to consider going back

  • Your don't know anything about college because you didnt go. I could see if you went and then dropped out but you haven't even experienced it so you cant really speak on it.

  • ... no comment.

  • Also, I don't say what I do to be mean. It's just that we ALL have to work hard in life and it makes me angry to see a BM make excuses. Whatever happened to having high standards? for putting yourself in a secure position? We live in a highly competitive environment. Those w/out an education will be poor. The decent paying, unskilled jobs just don't exist as they did the the past. This impacts your health, housing and quality of life. You can do it! But, ultimately it's on you.

  • Glad to hear you own your laziness. Now stop judging other because they want a better life for themselves than you do. College is not about being super smart, it's about working hard and being diligent. This is why some people live in poverty and instability, and others do not. What's really lame is that you get on YouTube giving advice and you're too lazy to better yourself or challenge yourself. You're a hypocrite. Your family is right. You're wrong. Take your ass back to school and man up!

  • @sclay12345 Nice shaming language.... feminist mangina. College just takes your money and passes everyone. It's utterly useless, employers don't care if you have one or not. What they do care about is work ethic and loyalty.

  • @darkbyke I assure you there are more people who regret not getting a college education than those who regret getting one. Again, this is about having high standards. What does that mean to you? or should I assume based on your insults that your standards and values are not very high.

  • @sclay12345 50 years ago maybe, when getting a college education meant something. This is not the case today. It's no more than a piece of paper now.

  • @darkbyke And you say "50 yrs ago, maybe" based on what? What proof do you have I have a degree. The family members who have degrees and are better off and more stable than the family members who are without an education. There is plenty of research saying college educated people make more money over a lifetime. Again, what's wrong with having more than the basics?? esp now that the economy is so bad? Surviving is about preparing for the worst....not just doing enough to get by.

  • @darkbyke Also, if people thought that JAY didn't have the aptitude, then they'd say...yeah you're right. But obviously people see that this guy has some brain cells and needs to strive for more than "just good enough." And I would say the same thing to you. Aim high in life...don't settle for less.

  • Typical nigger. He can not make it in college or formulate a sentence so he bashes college and college students.

Just like he bashes light skin people people and biracial people because he is jealous of them. He also bashes interracial dating because no other races of women will date him.

  • You dont need college to become rich. In fact some of the richest people never went to college or they droped out of college. I feel like colleges dont care about you. They just care about your money. Colleges make you take classes that you dont even need so they can get more money. If they took out those unnecessary classes, most people would graduate within 6 to 24 months. Many colleges make you buy brand new expensive books from them instead of giving you the option of buying used books.

  • Hey, Jay. You seem to have some wisdom. Maybe you oughtta try a Community College. I go to Community College and I do alright there.

  • I really appreciate your honesty - I really do but, I don't agree with you, college is very important. Why not rename this "A College education is not for everyone".

    but...

when you think about it we need people who don't go to college - just like you said

thanks for the vid, new sub.

  • yeah its not for everyone ahah im just mad that your so damn lazy...what do you wanna be?...a shrink?..theres a lot of alternatives..

  • Walt Disney DIDNT go 2 college he instead went for his passion & eventually made enough 2 hire people that earned a degree 2 work for him same with Bill Gates, Will Smith, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Larry Page (Google), Wilbur Wright (The inventor of the Airplane!) the list goes on.

So again this simply means college is an OPTION not a must or else fail.

How far you go in life is truly based on how much you truly believe in yourself & your passion & what makes you genuinely feel good inside.

  • JL has a point, its not for everybody. It does make a difference but its not necessary.

You can gain everything you need in life by being good to yourself and others, college is a lot of times forced onto people and or used as a safety net to "insure" a career.

Now finding your passion on the other hand is important,

I do believe that you should find it and dive into it!

Remember, the Artist create the world and the colleges teach students how to work for the creators. Example: Walt Disney

  • You may be correct about college not being everyone's cup of tea, but it seems as if you have extremely low self-esteem. I mean, you went on about not liking algebra, geometry, history etc. but math particularly is something that you have to work at. You have to believe in yourself regardless of what it is that you are trying to accomplish in life, college or not. Thought is the seed of action, so if you think that you can't accomplish something in life, then you won't!

  • The only thing I feel like I'm getting from college is a piece of paper to say "Hey employers, I'm smart hire me." Otherwise I feel like its a waste of time, most times I don't even go to lectures yet, I've been passing all my exams thru working from home and studyin at home. Only thing college has really done for me is let me meet fantastic people and get me into a business association.

  • I graduated from college and I'm far from stuck up just like most of the college graduates I know. If you speaking from your heart, its misleading you.

  • It seems like you don't like college because you never went. It sounds like your're hatin on what you don't have(college education). But on a more serious note, you need to stop all that self hate. Saying you're dumb or stupid only brings down your spirit. Instead, how about you say " I may not be the best at math, but maybe one day I'll master it." And yes, college IS hard, but I think you should still go for the experience. There are teachers who care and will do anything to help you graduate.

  • (cont.)... partners, which really helps. :)

  • I'm a social work major. I'm here to help others in the lower class, not look down on them. I have a passion for working with those who need my help. I will be working for a non profit when I graduate. I'm not doing it for the money, but I needed this degree to get the job that I want, and the information that I needed to know. I'm not stuck up or in it for the money. You can chose a major that best suits you. I only took one math class- statistics. I made it through with going to tutoring, and

  • Come on now Jay...it sounds like you have low self esteem talking about yourself like that. There are people without a degree who are smarter than those with one. And if you're not good in math, you can major in something else. One thing I regret is not going to college right after high school. My daughter is 7 years old and I already told her that college is a priority. I want her to have a better life than I do.

  • @wynterstorm04 I used to think he was smart before I saw this video and saw him say that himself that he's he's not.And yeah he does seem to have low self esteem.

  • that's right@pernch

  • Jay I know that college is for everyone, but not all people who want to got to college do for bragging rights or partying. Some families who's parents don't have a college degrees and children to take care struggle to make ends meet. My parents struggled with this when I was little having to take care of six kids. When my brother graduated college he got a job almost immediately, and now my parents have a huge weight lifted off of them. College is not always a choice for some people.

  • This is a really bad video. Why would you not encourage people to better themselves? As far as money and a job, even many older "entry level" jobs are now requiring some type of college education. When you are at the doctor sometime under a scalpel, getting your life saved, THANK GOD for the college this guy/gal took to learn how to save your life.

  • Everything ain't for everybody, including college. I attended it but what I got out of it wasn't primarily the in class lessons. It was the experiences I had with others, having my worldview challenged, and learning to be on my own as an adult that made college really worth going to for me. People wanna hype up that degree but in reality if you don't have the sense to use the information you've learned properly to get that degree, then you have wasted your time.

  • I make over 50k a year and I have no college Degree. College is not for everyone. Shit I make more than some college grads. I agree with you on some of the things you said.

  • I have a degree in psychology but now I'm training in Mixed Martial Arts instead. Fuck it all, I'm having fun in life now.

  • if you actually want to increase your chances of getting a better job, then yes. College education is worth it. Doesn't have to be an expensive university, but at least some sort of technical training. whether you like it or not, just get money!

  • We havr to stop trying to bring each other down.

  • The thing is that Americs lacks in understanding what education is all about. My family who live South America are successful people who did become doctors and lawyers. But my mother never bragged about that of our family. Why? My moms side of the family are very humble and do not step on other people who did not go to College. I feel so blessed to have family members like that. It's not about the money, it's about how you can help in this social world.

  • I understand why you don't like college, and honestly not everyone is in college for the right reasons, which is why very few people graduate. I like that you are simple Jay because i am. At the same time, college can help you open your mind to things that you don't know. You can choose the classes that you want to take and what times. It is a new experience that requires a person to open your mind. Nowadays its becoming more practical to go to college to even get simple jobs. They encourage it.

  • Oh well dang..I'm studying right now.

  • of course ppl go to college because they want alot of money most legal way to become a baller lol

  • i feel like yu probably didnt do well in high school....cause this statement is just foolish

  • I went to both college and law school. If I wanted to make a lot of money, throw something in people's faces and have sex with a lot of people, I would have become a drug dealer. Trust me, going to college guarantees you none of those things. It is expensive, it puts you in debt and it is stressful. The benefits are that you learn invaluable academic and social skills and you get access to jobs that you would not have access to without a degree. Hopefully one day you will experience that.

  • why did you make this video; you sound real stupid; what about people like thurdgood marshall; who fought for black people to have a decent education; marshall along with others put their lives on the line to intergrate the school systems. That is how we were fortunate to get people like; Condolezza Rice; Colin Powell; and Barrack Obama. You should reconsider your stupidity and just chill. Some of us actually care about our lives and that piece of paper called a degree; AMEN.

  • You're pretty damn bold for calling yourself dumb. I met many college mofoz that were dumb and ignorant to the things i'm educated to. They smart when it comes to book sense, but dumb as a brick when it comes to commonsense. You video is right on point tho.

  • You stupid mothafucka....

  • Real tall you should at least try junior college low risk interns of money and potential high reward. It won't hurt to try and ad far as "College is for smart people" bullshit. Yea being smart helps, but of you put forth the effort and study you can do it, but you can't be lazy. You say you have a job, but lord forbid will you still have it 5 years from now.

  • Maybe you should ask yourself. "why I be gone try talk all stupid like?".... It makes no sense to me why you would TRY to sound so braindead... "why do ebody haffa be hay en poe ole Jah nay el?" lol. It's because you act and speak like a 1st rate, RETARD.

  • @KingNayilz ok thanks

  • @JAYLOVE47 Finally someone smart, yo your not dumb obviously your seeing college for what it is!

  • College isn't for everybody that is true. But you still need some kind of skilled trade. How far you think minimum wage will take you in life. The days of working at the automobile plants with hardly no education making about 40 grand a year. Those days are gone. If you think you can flip burgers or go in and out of freezers, or pull pallets at 50 plus years old go right ahead.

  • I fully agree! College isn't for everybody, as you say in your description, it's ONLY for those who want LOTS of MONEY!!!

  • As a 44 yr white male with a ba degree, you do make sense, College is a scam, by stock!

  • Comment removed

  • You have to be a fool think you are better because you have a college education; without a college education it can keep you from jobs. This day and age you need an associate's degree just to get jobs now. I'm 27 years old; I will be 29 when I graduate. I'm majoring in Allied healthcare science.

College in my opinion is tool to better your current living situation if it is not that great.

College does not make you better person it makes you better off.

  • @flc2009 Couldn't have said that any better!!!

  • Enjoy being at the bottom of the barrel in society

  • Ignorant as hell.

  • Apart from that...times are hard nowadays. Once I'm older and have kids, I want to be able to take care of them and of myself. And that doesn't mean I need more money than the average person in this world. We should all strive for that...not having to worry about money. Apart from that, learning things isn't bad, even if you won't make money out of it. It's part of life.

  • Soooo...I liked all your videos, and agreed with most of them or at least it made me think about it, but this... I'm in college, and I don't think I will make a lot of money in the future, simply because there aren't many jobs in what I'm doing, at least not something that will get me a lot of money, like you claim. I do it because I like it. I like getting to know more about the subject I'm studying. This is so freaking superficial. Like everyone who goes to college wants money...

  • Money in this world is the bottom line on top of that bottomline is bank account of which if you don't have sufficient funds to keep up with obligations to sustain you well being efficient forclosures will follow regardless of how smart you are just because you like the subject. Because I have yet to this day see anyone calculate their finances based on Algebra 1 and 2. You know how many homeless smart people I just drove pass today? I don't, because I was driving to fast to count.

  • @xjorieke you could study from home by urself instead of paying people to teach you. thats not a valid point. u just want the piece of paper that says u completed college to get you a job.

  • You don't have to be smart to go to college but it does help. Some of the most important qualities you can have to succeed in college or in life period are determination, self motivation, a good work ethic, and a positive attitude. Some really smart people don't got to college because they get bored, are rebels, are lazy, or just because they don't want to. I'm glad I went and it was a great experience. I will admit it's overrated though.

  • And some people have dreams, some want to be writers, doctors, bussiness men etc. Some people need money some can't survive living off of paycheck to paycheck. Besides having extra money than what the average person has isn't a bad thing. Hard times come to a lot of people and for those who don't have the money to get them out of financial trouble what are they to do? Think of it as preparing for the worse.

  • I agree... You are dumb. Listen to yourself. You massacre the English language,as do most young blacks. And I think you do it on purpose. I don't know why you think it's cool to sound like a buffoon-but you do. And your viewpoints are borderline retarded. You need to take a long look at yourself. Loser.

  • @KingNayilz fuck the english language.. what the hell im gone try and talk all proper for

  • @KingNayilz there is a difference between talking "formal" in important business meetings etc. and simply being yourself, and of course there are those people who purposely try to make a country or braindead accent who are just posers.. but I think Jay is just being himself

  • I actually agree with you.I graduated in 1991, and I don't even make $20 per hr. You can't have everyone going to college. Private sector for the most part does not care if you have a degree.

  • I think you have FOF ( as said in Family Matters) fear of failer. You need a can do attitude.

  • i agree with some and i disagree with with some points

  • i love to learn more in more.

  • you sound hella stupid in this vid jay smh

  • I just simply love to learn...new things and broaden my horizens. Your righ college is not for everyone...but I sugggesst that you go to the library and read up on subjects that your interested in..that's anouther way to learn alot and gain knowlege is through reading. Peace and love J.

  • remember J that going to give you a job that your not qualified to do...alot of of good decent jobs require a college degree of some sort...it is what it is! Just because someone goes to college does not mean their smart. I think I'm pretty smart..for the most part, and I've done pretty good in school..but I'm not so smart in math, but the math classes that I took i studied hard and got through them.

  • Comment removed

  • so far i have not gotton very far..in life without a degree, and I love go learn, college is no garantee for sucess, but I like having an education.

  • If you want a decent paying job you need an education

  • not true J.don't streotype college people, I go to college and I'm not that way

  • going to college doesn't mean you gonna make alot of money after you graduate and it's not necessarily for smart people either I know some people that aren't that smart that went to college. college isn't for everybody just cause people go to college it don't mean they are better than people that don't go to college.

  • I just like have alot of money in my bank accounts.

  • -____-

  • If u were to attend college I have a feeling that u would mos def exel in history and sociology.

  • Maybe they want to elevate their lives, try something new, challenge themselves and their is nothing wrong with that. It's OK for you to not want to go. Maybe you need to give it a try. It's sounds like you are just not confident enough in your education ability. Book from the library can help you brush up on any skill you need to work on. Try it

  • For me, college is an intellectual journey in science. People who want to study science REQUIRE a college education because you need hands-on experience in laboratories. Going to college has taught me a lot of things, but the most important, by far, is to READ. It could be a chemistry textbook, or a book on African Civilizations, whether your in college or not, you still have an equal opportunity to read. Ignorance is SUPPOSED to be comfortable, step out of that comfort zone.

  • dont you have university in the us?

  • I'll be real, one day I think it would kick ass if we both had a chat on video and put it here (since we are both Philadelphians). I am in college, and you made some interesting points, but at the same time, it isn't accurate either. It is your opinion, and I have no issue with that. But us having a difference of opinion humbly would make for a good chat. Oh, and trust me, math is a pain in the balls. I kinda don't blame you.

  • i dont want to go to college for shiiiiiiittttt but i realize that if i want to live they lifestyle ive always dreamed of i will have to go...i do agree that college is not for everyone but it guess its for those who want to live a certain way...thanks for sharing.

  • Comment removed

  • Reason why people go to college: To do better in life!! People want to better themselves. I want to go to college because I want to help change to future. I am not a smart person but I TRY my best!!! You have to ask for help to do better. If you dont like college that is fine but do not generalize everyone who is in college.

  • College won't help you become intelligent or wise. You need to have a drive to learn yourself. Most schools tell you what to think and most of it is telling students to regurgitate information. I think if schools taught more applicable things that can be applied to real life, I think many people wouldn't have to go to college because they would have the skills to succeed in life. They would have the know-how to educate themselves, by themselves and know how to create a source of income.

  • you really lost your touch to make video ...

  • College graduates are the dumbest people .... ONLY BECAUSE WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT MAKES SOME 1 DUMB OR SMART... A PERSON WHO THINKS THEY ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A PEICE OF PAPER ON THEIR WALL.... IS A DUMBASS..

  • MOST PEOPLE IN COLLEGE ARE NOT '' SMART'' + WHAT is smart anyways.... smart is subjective and has standards...

  • What do you mean your not smart enough..... ? ( not for college) but y would u say that about yourself.... stop comparing yourself to others... and stop using negative words to describe urself.... WHATEVER YOU SAY IS ONLY TRUE BECAUSE YOU SAY (and think) IT

  • College and money? Haha, I also went to college but i don't have much money. I live in a 10 m² appartment now to save costs.

  • lol this guy hates college just because he cant get into it. what a stupid fuck

  • @JAYLOVE47 Are you fucking serious?! "College is for people who want a lot of money and are stuck up?" I'm a social work major. Most social workers make less than truck drivers. Don't you tell me that the nursing, teaching, and social work majors are money hungry and stuck up. You are ignorant!! Education is power and you obviously LACK it. You being lazy and stupid is not better than being stuck up anyway! Smh unsubbing! "Fuck what your momma say"??? You need help man... horrible advice kids!!

  • College Scams #1 In the United States today, there are more than 100,000 janitors that have college degrees. #2 In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees. #3 One-third of all college graduates end up taking jobs that don’t even require college degrees. #4 The total amount of student loan debt in the United States now exceeds the total amount of credit card debt n the United States. I can go on but you get the drift. I'm in college and agree to what he says.

  • @tivon3 I realize that college isn't for everyone and that's fine, but to totally reject it as being reserved for only those that are stuck up and money hungry is ridiculous and insulting. I'm concerned about all the would be doctors and engineers watching this vid that are now second guessing their goals. WE NEED COLLEGE GRADS! Especially black ones! Why is this dude trying to depreciate his own race by telling them not to get an education?! It seriously angers me. SN Why are you in school?

  • Look at the current system you have, everything you think that bears good fruit by going to college blossomed in the Occupy Wallstreet Movement from people that caught on and realized that college is one big ass ponze scheme. Because ''education is not exclusive to school''. Abigail Adams, U.S. first lady was Home schooled, Sheldon Adelson, billionaire casino owner. Dropped out of City College of New York to become a court reporter. He made his first fortune doing trade shows WITHOUT a degree.

  • Bill Gates, billionaire co-founder of Microsoft, one of the richest men in the world, philanthropist. Dropped out of Harvard after his second year to work with Paul Allen on the venture that became Microsoft. As he noted, “I realized the error of my ways and decided I could make do with a high school diploma.” So many of the worlds successful people don't have college degrees. College is for people most who are not self sufficient and depend on ready made templates to become successful.

  • I attend college not for education purposes but for sheer social encounters from people that just enjoy being around people that interested in what I'm interested in. I can drop out any day and still be successful because my money comes from things outside of school and. I'm a real estate bird dog, I go out looking for deals ofr investors and if I find property with lets say 400,000 equity I get 3% of that and would pocket 12 thousand dollars in a matter of weeks. College can't show you that.

  • @tivon3 What a stupid thing to say. Again I reiterate, WHY ARE YOU IN COLLEGE?

  • @tivon3 Bill Gates was in Harvard! that's already a leg up on the average person. He also came from a successful family, which means he's connected and comes from privilege some people don't have. therefore YOU can't compare the average person with Gates.

  • @tivon3 Yeah and Bill Gates dropped out of college too, but how many Bill Gates' do we have out there? Not many! You have to be realistic here! Certain goals that one may want to reach requires college, and that doesn't make you a greedy or stuck up person. Bill got his contacts at Harvard even though he didn't graduate, college made an impact on him.Anyway if you are so against college then why are you in college? Just drop out and go become a billionaire... lol people like you amaze me.

  • @tivon3 You need to go to school for at least 3 years to become a court reporter. Writing on a stenograph machine is like reading and writing another language. There are several entry level occupations that require at least a bachelors whereas 10-15 years ago, you just needed a high school diploma or GED. I am so against this video. Hell...he may as well encourage people to drop out of school. You at least need to pass algebra to get through high school.

  • @coollikethat10101 I do not think you watched the whole video before commenting, it shows because if you would have watched he said college is not for everyone.

  • @flc2009 I understand that college is not for everyone. That is beside the point. Plenty of people never go to college, but to bash it is a different story entirely.

  • And also look at all those celebrities who have made it big in the industry, half who never went to college and sum who dropped outta school altogether and now theyre making big dough, so its like some people they just already got the knowledge withing them to get far in life and because very successful so its like dont think college is for everyone i know alot of smartass people in my life who dont have a degree me being one of em later folks

  • I think you have the FOF factor. Or 'Fear of Failure' factor. You are afraid to fail in the first place, so that is giving you a phobia to even try. I'm horrible at Math, as soon as a Math class is over, I've forgotten 75% of what I had learned in that class. It just won't stick! However, I still need to take Math, and take it until it can stick. I can't let my FOF with Math stop me from understanding it, feel me? You're smart, you can attend college, but if you'd rather not, then don't.

  • @XiggyJ Me too but I just got a tutor and I do my best.It takes more time to learn college math but that's the only way to get your degree.

  • I agree, college is not for everybody, unfortunately society says you're nothing and never will be anything unless you have a college education. It's unfortunate that most good paying jobs require at least a bachelor's degree. I disagree with the fact that you say you're lazy and not smart. You seem to be very intelligent and motivated. Lets not forget the ridiculous amount of debt most college students accumulate, and also the fact that a lot of college graduates are still dumb and stupid as hell.

  • THE MAIN EDUCATION YOU NEED IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SELF OF WHO YOU ARE YOUR CULTURE AND POSSIBILITIES AND THIS WILL NEVER BE DEFINED IN A WHITE RACIST BASED EDUCATIVE SYSTEM LOL.

  • @edgarmendex Ok so what do you call those black colleges?

  • TMH IS THE COLLEGE...NOT SOME EDUCATION SYSTEM WHO TELLS YOU THAT MAN CAME FROM A MANKY HAHAHAHA GIVE EM BANANAS...

  • Have you ever thought about going to a trade school?

  • you are dumb.. really, in this day and age you need some type of higher education. It may not be a 4 year degree but some type of certification is needed. Without this you are more likely to be making min wage for the rest of your life. We live in a different age, there used to be on the job training that is really rare to find today.

  • Even though I'm in college right now, all these people on here bashing you need to calm down. They are just proving you right about people acting stuck up. Their way isn't the only way. That is your personal decision on whether or not you want to attend college. Personally, I am in college because I recognize some employers won't even consider hiring you without a college degree. Also, I enjoy the subject I'm studying. I can get lazy too..nobody likes to do all these exams..they suck! lol

  • @MySmile012 To each his own. If you are happy with your life then that's the best place you can be. I hate when people try to shove stuff down your throat. Most of the people preaching to you probably didn't even go to college themselves!! Even when you do go to college, they still have something to say about your major or what school you're going to. I'm going to college because it's something personal that I want to do with my life. I respect your decision.

  • TO HELL WITH COLLEGE THEY ANT TELLING YOU THE TRUE HISTORY ANYWAYS THE BANANAS AND THEIR LIFE ARE LIES, THAT'S WHY THE WHOLE BABYLONIAN SYSTEM IS BASED IN A LIE AND LIES COLLAPSE COLLAPSING NOW YEP, THEIR DEGREES CANT SAVE THEM NOW...

  • TELL THE COLLEGE BANANAS THAT REAL LIFE IS THE TRUE COLLEGE NOT SOME WHITE DEFINITION OF EDUCATION THAT IS NOTHING MORE THEN THE BRAINWASHING OF BANANAS LOL...

  • So because I go to college I am stuck up and think that I'm better than everyone else? I'm not lookin for money, I'm lookin for a career to benifit people. Everyone is smart I have a learning problem with math and reading don't mean I'm not smart. The problem is being lazy! Jay u can def make it in college, I would love to see you in class descusions!

  • @4evaholy Jay is not ignorant he was telling the truth which you hate hearing.

  • Also, I think that in the USA, african americans don't go to university because it's really expensive. In Canada, college is not that expensive. Almost everybody goes to university, It's part of your life cycle. If only they could set some objectives, they could get a scholarship and then go to university. It is really important. College is for everybody, it's not for stuck-ups.

  • Going to university will help you find a better job. A more decent job, yes you'll earn more money. If african americans all wen't to university they could live better lives! You know it's right. You may be able to pay a small appartment, but not a house. People who struggle to make live their family are often people who were too lazy to go to university and get a good job. Now they have 3 kids, and work at 2 ou 3 different places!

  • "Only for stuck up people who think they better and people who want lots of money". These are the only people? Maybe someone wants better for themselves than what they have, or to influence the world, contribute to science, do something they love. Thirst for knowledge? Do you really think those can be the ONLY options?

  • Everyone should not go to college directly out of high school because it takes commitment to make it through whatever program of study you are in. You have to be committed to doing the work. Intelligence level is not the issue. anyone with an average intelligence level can make it through college. Education does not equal intelligence.

As someone with a graduate degree, I really think black people should concentrate on being business owners and not just working for others and being consumers.

  • @sphinx4real I dont even think my intelligence level is average according to iq test

  • @sphinx4real This was so well said! I agree 100%

  • The first universities were in the motherland----what we know as Africa. What you are speaking about is the "western" or "white" construct of college.

However, many black people (and others) who attain college degrees do begin to look down on other people. I can't speak for HBCU's. I attended "white" colleges, but there are many obstacles for blacks in white colleges. for example, many times people think blacks are only there due to affirmative action and treat us that way.....

  • Your right on the part that everything isnt for everybody. Im not in school either, but I least want to take up a trade. That doesnt mean. Im not successful. I work in the industry. Haha and trust me when I say that more then half the people who are in school couldnt handle the industry. :)

  • Ok, you don't wanna go college, that's your choice. Having money is good, I admit I want money as I would be able to enjoy myself more, and not all college students are stuck up. I'm in the UK though and college here is like School for grown ups. I'm not sure but I think Uni in the UK is like US college.

You can be smart if you're motivated to be smart, looking at myself I know this. Also some teachers can help make a lesson boring or interesting.

  • it is important.

    but bragging is not right.

  • That's where ur wrong jaylove, a degree will help u excel in life, excel financially.without it you`ll be stuck cleaning houses bagging groceries, and working at wal mart.you hate college educated people because you are not making as much as they r and you r not driving the cars the r driving and or living in the houses that they are blessed to live in.

  • @blodachia lol ok whatever.. im not into that stuff so you're wrong.. i just hate college and stuck up people i dont hate someone for simply going to college

  • College these days are becoming a joke especially with the exam format and tuition costs. I have a learning disability with verbal skills but I am good at math, perception, and pattern recognition. I hate when students and teachers criticize you thinking that my intelligence is below average all because of my verbal skills. There are people who are weak in academic work, who are way more intellligent than these college people would ever be in their lives. These schools want us to be slaves.

  • @JanayM I think i'm horrible with pattern recognition!

  • @JAYLOVE47 what do you do for a living?

  • @StreetPimpin20 housekeeping

  • @StreetPimpin20 Hey I'd like to know too!lol

  • @JAYLOVE47 i used to terrorize people that thought they were better

  • @emmettmays85 i bet you did gangsta

  • @JAYLOVE47 most of the college people who look down on people who dont go to college are usually those snobby ass middle class/upper class muthafuckas who look down on people in lower class

  • @emmettmays85 yea i know thats why i dont want to go and be afiliated with people like that

  • @JAYLOVE47 yeah the other day i was arguing with supposedly college educated chick who claim she taking up sociology but she deny that sistas have a hair complex ,

  • @JAYLOVE47 lol its always goin be people that judge you based societys standards, even family..but life to short to be trying to earn approval from people, 9 times out 10 they lame as fuck anyway..in most cases people end up with jobs that have nothing to do with their degree

  • Great video. Just because you have weak academic skills doesn't mean that your intelligence level is below average. Many intelligent, talented, and hardworking people are not cut out for college. College and school in general is mostly for those who are left-brained than right-brained. You could have so much creativity, intelligence, innovative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills that you don't even know it. Whatever your choose to do with your life, I wish you the best of luck.

  • you can go to college and still fail in life but going to college is just another route.. more so for careers if you'er just going to get a job then just get experience.. personally I have never been interested in money but i do need to buy thing to support my career and I need the experience and higher knowledge to do that.. by the way I'm in from the UK so things are different..

  • One of the most important things for youth to do (especially in this day and age) is get a college degree. Career fields are more competitive now than the
