@SamOfTheSound they were part of that scene, despite shying away from using the word. they've said in interviews that their music is meant to be the voice of the dead; tales told by those who have passed. that's why it's so haunting and phantasmagoric. it's all a reflection on themes of death and loss and acceptance. that's what you're missing.

@frankenbat In an old TV interview Brendan gave the explanation of the name Dead Can Dance: it means giving life to things like musical instruments which obviously don't have any life!!! They never said "We are Goth" or what else....they used to say "we are musicians". That's why I'm not missing the point! Anyway, they were, are and always will be one of the greatest band ever seen on earth. Hope you agree at least with this last sentence. Ciao

This was the most horrible Dead Can Dance piece I've listened to yet. The video is nice but the music is horrid, he can't even sing, not even a nice voice. He's just banging on a drum making a lot of noise. It takes you nowhere.

Brendan is a master record producer, Lise has her job, but Brendan contributions to DCD are unique and beautiful,.... I think Brendan's voice is beautiful too!..... to each his own

He sings in the best songs, I love lisa but her solo stuff is weak compared to DCD, eventhough the whalerider soundtrack was pretty good. Try American dreaming, Severance, In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. All are great songs with Brendan singing.

great work the video is great - love DCD since 1981 saw them in Germany Bochum Zeche, Lisa wore a white dress back to front and was extremely beautifull Brendan with great hair and beard very concentrated his voice extremely beautifull only 5 people on stage - but the sound was unbeliavable great. The Audience - and me - freaked out. Lisa was smiling looking to Brendan with great joy. These are moments you dont forget, I stand 2 Meters from the stage - this was the best concert I´ve ever seen.
