is it just me or do 90s uniforms look a bit different? 90s was the best decade in baseball. I honestly think I prefer 90s tv quality over now's tv quality.
@eatroffles The power of nostalgia my friend, lol. I was a 90's kid, so even though I watch and love baseball today, I spend most of the offseason looking for 90's videos.
@joedoys Yeah, Chip was always a beast. I actually got to see him play in person last spring when I went to Arizona and saw the DBack vs Braves. He still puts his heart in everything he does. 1st Ballot HoFamer.
Ok guys, first I wanna thank you all for all the views and comments! Im gonna try to upload some more clips as soon as I get a chance! Thx again guys! God bless
This was one of the last good WS (in my opinion). Yanks had a team made up of scrappy players (unlike today) a total "TEAM" attitude, Braves had the pitching.
One thing I always appreciated about this video. It truly doesn't tip its hand. At no point is it clear the Yankees are going to win this series. So if I show this to my kid someday they will be in suspense until the very end. It even starts by showing the Braves resolve and then dominance, you'd almost think its about the Braves. In reality its just being equal towards both Series participants, which is refreshing.
@billny33 that's why I liked this one so much more than the others ('98, '99, '00)! The other ones were very good, but it was obvious who won! Thx for commenting!
can you upload other parts of this video? Like the Luis Polonia at bat at the end of game 5 or the 9th inning/ending of game 6? This was an incredibly beautifully done video that really advertises baseball better than anything in this department they put out now.
@billny33 I'll try, as soon as I get a chance! Just sub to my channel to keep up! If you are interested, I have another cahnnel on here: (Benji12586) I'm gonna re-upload alot of my old stuff to that channel! Thx for watching my video!
Don't be too upset about it, they had a great run. 14 consecutive NL East division titles, 1995 World Series title, 5 NL Pennants, and you've got at least 4 Hall of Famers on that team...if you don't count Chipper Jones and Fred McGriff who I definitely expect to be enshrined. Bobby Cox, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Fred McGriff, and Chipper Jones....Are you kidding me? I'd definitely take that kind of team on a year by year basis.
'96 NLCS ruined me. up 3-1 to the mighty Braves, and in what has become a Cardinal postseason tradition for the past 43 years, we managed to piss down our legs. That was the worst loss ever in my 24 years of following sports. Super Bowl XXXVI ain't far behind.
I like how everyone who doesn't win championships loves yo say we "don't pay for championships" this the Atlanta braves team that had the best pitching staff through the 90s and could only manage to win 1 word series 14 straight division titles 1 world series too bad y'all suck! Oh btw we beat atlanta twice
@ksunshine1977 If that series hadn't been incredibly RIGGED the Braves might have won. I mean, come on. You had that kid who blatantly took an out away from Tarrasco for the Orioles and turned it into a homerun, and the umps somehow never saw him. And then Game 4 of the World Series. Too many things were fishy about that whole run for the Yankees. It's simple: the Braves had just won a WS, the Yankees needed this way more than the Braves. But the Braves were without a doubt the better team.
what was that song called that they played in the very beginning?

I'm a HUGGGGGGGGGGGE Braves fan and I can honestly say '96 might be the biggest collapse in World Series history, 2nd to 1985.
