Some kids fell thru ice in a lake in QNs yrs ago. Coming in from the other side in a Zodiac, Emergency Service Unit, NYPD (SWAT)motored to the kids and pulled them in. Many firemen, w/bunker gear, bravely ran on the ice towards the kids, breaking it and falling in. The news helicopter filming it, edited out the firemen falling into the ice. The cops, after pulling in the kids, turned to the firemen and helped them out too. It was quite an impressive scene. Does anyone have this video?
1stab - I know the video it was CHAOS. Brutal for both the NYPD and FDNY.. I'll see if I can find.
