After 12 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Sometimes one must wonder if the rude and vulgar comments posted here are coming from someone who has actually felt the sting and sometimes fear of battle, lost a friend or served in a combat area period: I have served beside British, French, Dutch and Canadian Soldiers, I enjoyed every moment fighting beside them knowing they were all professional warriors, true soldiers they are.
Spent some quality time operating with Brit's in the middle east: All I can say is that it was an honor serving beside our British allies, true professional soldiers. I'll serve with my friends from across the Atlantic any day.
Next year the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal will be presented to service personnel, emergency service personnel and prison officers with more than five years service. Theres no plans to award the medal to veterans, many of whom have given a lot more than five years service during the reign of Her Majesty.
This petition asks that the medal should also be awarded to veterans who served Her Majesty during her 60 years

I dont like being involved in these arguments, but overall the American Military is bigger and better equipped so they would beat us in war. However the British Armed Forces are much more professional and we are the better military in terms of training and overall quality. For example, I just watched a video were 30 US "marines" were shot at by one man with a 60 year old rifle, they went crazy and lost control, then called in an air strike that killed 12 civilians, completely missing the sniper.

Still you must admit that in terms of fighting skill, discipline, dignity and size ratio, the British army is better. Plus I don't think I've heard of British troops shooting American troops.
I lost two friends to American soldiers, both were in the British army.
The military force the British sent to crush the American rebellion was actually a German conscript force, while the 'American' forces were highly trained British traitors. Still, it was the French who won the revolutionary war by flanking the British fleet and making sure no complete force got to shore.

I've never used a real Magpul weapon myself, thanks to the moronic British weapon laws (which state that you can legally own a .50BMG bolt action rifle but not a .22 handgun). I can't really compare airsoft and real firearms (as they're not used for the same purposes) but I might redirect some money from my "shotgun fund" so that I can buy myself one of those Magpul Masadas.

I dont like being involved in these arguments, but overall the American Military is bigger and better equipped so they would beat us in war. However the British Armed Forces are much more professional and we are the better military in terms of training and overall quality. For example, I just watched a video were 30 US "marines" were shot at by one man with a 60 year old rifle, they went crazy and lost control, then called in an air strike that killed 12 civilians, completely missing the sniper.

some of the equipment the british have is appauling. Their headsets are complete rubbish. those velcro straps look like the velcro straps that come directly of cheap trainer shoes. also having a microphone close to you're lips is psycholigically proven to be a distraction and makes it easier to reactl more slowly to enemies. they should only use throat mics as they pickup zero background noise. The military force the British sent to crush the American rebellion was actually a German conscript force, while the 'American' forces were highly trained British traitors. Still, it was the French who won the revolutionary war by flanking the British fleet and making sure no complete force got to shore.

I've never used a real Magpul weapon myself, thanks to the moronic British weapon laws (which state that you can legally own a .50BMG bolt action rifle but not a .22 handgun). I can't really compare airsoft and real firearms (as they're not used for the same purposes) but I might redirect some money from my "shotgun fund" so that I can buy myself one of those Magpul Masadas.
