  • Love you Brian Setzer! You're a classy-bad-ass rocker & will always be one of my favs!

  • Brian Setzer's guitar skills is like COCAINE it blows u the fuck off! and gets u addicted to the ROCKABILLY MUSIC!

  • Why do I imagine Brian Setzer with a british accent all the time?

  • Who's playin' in the background?

  • I met him when I was a kid and have always had a deep appreciation for his amazing guitar and for that mater musical talents.

  • hail hail brian setzer.....

  • dear brian, can you hand me your guitar 2 seconds? ... i wanna know how it feels like to be a GOD

  • ive played this guitar and let me tell ya ..its sounds like SHIT compared to a REAL GRETSCH...meaning a vintage one..which I had a chance to get in NYC at RUDYS for $19000....what a guitar a real 50s original all these tribute and reliced fakes truly stink!

  • @STORYTASTIC They're great for people like us that can't afford that shit though man. The economy fucks the middle class around more than anybody.

  • @9timesnine you are right!!

  • PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE SONG TITLE IS!! 5:58-7:16

  • Oh my goodness... I fucking adore that man.

  • does anybody else notice that he looks a lot like Joe Strummer?, especially when he was younger like in the live show of rock this town that vh1 classic plays from time to time.

  • What's crazy he is way more appreciated in England and even Asia then he is here. The guy is among my all time favorites.

  • @TheJaybrone shows ya how much BS the us music industry is,,, we like crooks and killers here no talent garbage! Brian has more talent than anyone here Oh wait the new justin beiber cd is being delivered gotta answer the ups guy! HA

  • Brian is just cool. And one helluva performer.

  • He left it in a cab?

  • these are around for about $10,000 but I"ve seen them as low as $6-7k

  • Unreal.. Man I want this guitar and would be damn honored to own one. Setzer is an underrated master!

  • he's got the prettiest guitars.... him and George Harrison...

  • @tiranchula You are soooo right!

  • if i could jam with any rocker it would be setzer.btw, how much is his signature model goin fo these days??lol

  • @gibsongold1970 the hot rod, ie the stripped down setzer signature guitar goes for 2-3k AUD

  • wats the song hez playing at 40

  • @Rex066y

Sounds like "Take a Chance On Love" from the album "13"

  • i can understand why an artist would ask for a guitar made already broken in, but if im gonna spend a lot on one it better be as brand new as possible! lol

  • Love these guys. But how the fuck do you leave a nice guitar like THAT in a cab???

  • I really wish they would price it for real people.

  • When I was at guitar center I got to play this guitand it was AWSOME!

  • @Jwguitarjam Cooooool, man! Gretsch even got the decals right!

  • 7:16--American Idol is a bunch of crap! So true! Did Brian sing that?

  • @billc756 HaHa, he did say that!

  • @billc756 Yeah. He sang that in his song, "We are the Marauders."

  • the whole concept of a zero fret is to make it stay in tune BETTER not worse.

  • does anyone have this guitar?

  • In common with other Rockabilly legends (Eddie, Buddy and Gene), Brian had come to England to really be appreciated.

  • Whats the song at the start plz

  • @mitch6192 "Takin' a Chance on Love"

  • The 2 hardest shows I ever saw were Nirvana in 91 and the Stray cats in Asbury Park NJ in 93' -96' something like that. I did not think that they rocked that hard, but they did not stop,, they wore us out. I'll never forget that show

  • what does that "mud switch" do

  • @sichadeb its pretty much a 3 position tone switch.

alot of Gretsch guitars have 3 volume controls (one of each pickup and a master) a pickup switch and a tone switch.

  • ahh

  • It lets you chouse what capacitor is in the tone circuit, difrent values of capacitor changes what frequences are attenuated.

  • Hey guys i think this dvd comes with the tribute guitar it self if anyone out there has the rest of the dvd please uploaded on youtube.

  • got a G6120bw, awesome guitar. Only thing I dont like is the fret access high up.

  • fix the nut/truss rod

  • as a guitar player i grew up with the Van Halen kinda style but I gotta admit Brian Setzers playing just blows me away

  • @lerxt42 That's because his is superior

  • @streetgangtm To you maybe, or do you have undeniable proof instead of just your opinion?

  • I like Stray Cats the minute I heard Brian's twainging guitar sound..believed me alot people didnt cared for them in eighties..But I did haha

  • oh and if you want a Setzer signature Gretsch.. theyre selling at around $4,000, a TRIBUTE Setzer 6120 ( only 59 made by the custom shop ) will start around $22,000.

  • Go for the Fulltone Tape echo..its cheaper then trying to buy a very expensive , very wanted Roland....The TTE is fantastic and cant really be duplicated with a pedal.. no.. the tape doesnt break.. its not really under any stress, but it does wear out over time like normal metal tape does.. but there are replacement tapes cheap.. you can even find replacements for the Roland's and echo plex's...The Fulltone TTE is about $1000. I play mine all the time.

  • With these Gretsch guitars , alot of tube amps can make them sound too tight with mud on the bottom end . Thats what i found after going through alot of current Fender amps . But when you plug it into a 63 Bassman it's like magic . Got the Roland/Boss reissue tape echo pedal but one day gotta get the real Roland tape echo with all that VCR looking tape running through those heads . Bet that breaks down alot ?

  • Great video , Setz is a guitar master with the tone to boot ! The Gretsch signature Nashville is a great guitar . Signature models like this and Claptons cost alot but are worth it , in the long run ,cause you don't have to do much work with the guitar , the tone is there . I have a studio Gibson Les Paul and it was good but a pickup change made it great !

  • i take it that interview was 3 years ago,im only getting to see it now,,better late than never

    excellent stuff

  • he was so gorgeous

    when he was young!

  • What's the title of the DVD, and where can I get it?

  • I'd sell ya my soul if you'd post the whole DVD.

    But thanks for posting this!

  • Why didn't you post the other chapters of this DVD where Brian shows his guitar cabinet, his garage and his beautiful Palm Springs property and introduces his whole family?

  • Forgive me, but does anyone what album these songs playing are off of...? Thanks.

  • Wait it says at the end..

  • thw album is called '13'

  • love this guitar, whats ur opinion, on a guitarist looking for a gretch what does rockabilly blues and rock???????

  • it is a great lookin guitar. But I dont know anyone who could buy one and gig with it.Costs to much to leave hangin around in a bar.
