The issue most JWs have is that they assume what many christians are saying without asking them what they really mean. That alone causes problems. I have to disagree with your statement about the Witnesses. I've known hundreds personally and each one I've met seemed pretty determined to save lives. @JahsProphecy You fail to understand what I am saying here. Many people, outside of Witnesses, fail to allow the Spirit to minister to them and guide them to where they need to be. You can lead 10 people to salvation in one swoop if you allow the SPirit to guide you to go where He needs you to be at at a particulat time. I worked in Construction about 5 years back and my boss was a Jehovah's Witness (he passed away not too long ago) and everywhere we went, he ALWAYS looked for opportunities to witness to people, worked VERY well.

JW believe salvation comes at the end of their lives but listen what Jesus said in Luke 19:9-10 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." TODAY is the day, works come from after having Jesus come into your heart. Works come after because it glorifies God not ourselves.

@JahsProphecy The only way anyone can lose their salvation is to completlely turn away from His word and blasphame His name. Sins will not cause you to lose your salvation. I think on my own with Jehovah's guidance. And I recently read that article "JW Doctrine" you just sited. The Bible based publications they give out are guides on topics, they are based on the Bible. John 1 in the New World Translation is wrong. It reveals Jesus as being one of many gods. Revelation 1, The First and the Last (which you and I both agree is God or Jehovah God) says He was once dead and now He is alive (18). We know it began in the chapter saying "The revelation of Jesus Christ"
According to many peoples research, including my own, the New World Translation is known for it's highly accurate translation including John 1. According to scriptures in the Bible, Jesus is not Jehovah and the holy spirit is not someone but actually Jehovah's active force. So with trinitarians always arguing Jehovah is Jesus, why don't they involve the Holy Spirit in with their arguments?
You have to study the Greek yourself. Even Jesus told His disciples to search the scriptures to know that He is the Christ. Don't take anyone elses word but as guidance. Either they are sending you the right way or the wrong way. Jesus Christ forgave sins and received worship. If He wasn't God what would that make Him? He is God in the flesh, or as John 1 explains "The Word made flesh"

@seektruth1000 Jesus is not Jehovah, YHWH, Father God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, Almighty God, etc., However, Jesus has been called in the Greek Sciptures as Kurios and Theos, two words that encompasses the English word God. The issue most JWs have is that they assume what many christians are saying without asking them what they really mean. That alone causes problems. Jesus was God (Theos/Kurios), but not Pater (Father, Almighty God).

@seektruth1000 Replace each word that God replaced in the greek and hebrew with its correct word (there are 50 different words between the 2 lanuages), it will paint a much better picture of who Jesus is. The Bible tells us there are only certain things that the Almighty God can do, but Jesus does these things. Im not saying Jesus is teh almighty, but he is certainty more then just a god.

The issue here is the witness don't acknowledge anything from the Bible when it's not being spoken by another witness. If I were a witness at this convention, I would have been thinking, "I hope they don't come in and bring the demons with them." Something stupid like that. All he's saying is examine the scriptures, and test it against your chosen faith. Witnesses can't hear that. They hear the devil speaking twisted things.

Many JWS think the more they serve the more favoy they get in His eyes for salvation and in the eyes of the org. Its not about how many hours you serve, With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you can impact more lives then you possibility think. If you just go knocking without his guidance, you may be missing people you really need to talk to. Its all about SAVING SOULS, period, and nothing else. That is the ultimae reason you are serving, because you love HIM and want to see others saved.

I have to disagree with your statement about the Witnesses. I've known hundreds personally and each one I've met seemed pretty determined to save lives. And what i see, they are guided by Gods holy spirit. You preach the good news with your heart. I can't read hearts but i can sure see their love for Jehovah through their qualities.

@JahsProphecy You fail to understand what I am saying here. Many people, outside of Witnesses, fail to allow the Spirit to minister to them and guide them to where they need to be. You can lead 10 people to salvation in one swoop if you allow the SPirit to guide you to go where He needs you to be at at a particulat time. Just going down the street and knocking at every door isnt the best way to do it. That is where Im getting at. In other words, cherry picking is good.

It it did, then Jesus' punishment on the whipping post and his death is all in vain and noone will be saved. You should try your best not to sin, yes....but being honest, we will sin as well. Thus why it is stated MULTIPLE times in the Bible we cannot earn salvation and need to recieve it

Also I see the NWT is one of better translations because they put God's name back into the Bible, that's one thing. Also, you are correct, through prayer and ability to talk to Jehovah is through Christ. Also, Christians dedicate their life to Jehovah, not any org. But also, Jehovah is organized and spreads his word rather efficiently, as he does with Jehovah's Witnesses. NWT arrogant and bias? I think on my own with Jehovah's guidance. And I recently read that article "JW Doctrine" you just sited. The Bible based publications they give out are guides on topics, they are based on the Bible. This I've seen a lot of people try to slander that they are not. And 5 minutes in the morning on a Saturday is worth a chance to get to know Jehovah. And it is not soliciting. And if there is a sign, Witnesses do take that into account and reach them through letter or phone.

@JahsProphecy Its only ONE way to lose salvation, and that is to reject and blasohame him. Don't kid yourself, even being saved, you will still jack up one in a while, and sin every day. Salvation is BELIEVING in Him, Confessing your sins TO HIM and BELIEVING that He is Lord. It does NOT have a thing to do with your actions. You will screw up, you will sin...and do it on a daily basis. If the WT trells you that if you sin you lose your salvation, then no on will ever be saved in that case.

Jesus blood not only forgives but washes away the carnal nature. He also will wash away your memories of sin. Not saying the will never show up (Temptation) but your new memories will be of pure intimacy with God. Thats what Paul reveals in Romans Ch. 5-8 and read Philippians 4:8-9.

And also, Witnesses are encouraged to learn and look into the beliefs such as Trinitarians, Hindu, Buddhists, beliefs of native Americans, and all sorts. Christians should prove to themselves that they have the accurate truth. A Christian will listen to the beliefs of someone, for example this man in this video, but won't follow what he's teaching because that Christian already has made the truth his/her own. This means, research, prayer, gaining a relationship with Jehovah, ect.

John 1 in the New World Translation is wrong. It reveals Jesus as being one of many gods. Revelation 1, The First and the Last (which you and I both agree is God or Jehovah God) says He was once dead and now He is alive (18). We know it began in the chapter saying "The revelation of Jesus Christ"

According to many peoples research, including my own, the New World Translation is known for it's highly accurate translation including John 1. According to scriptures in the Bible, Jesus is not Jehovah and the holy spirit is not someone but actually Jehovah's active force. So with trinitarians always arguing Jehovah is Jesus, why don't they involve the Holy Spirit in with their arguments?

Either they are sending you the right way or the wrong way. Jesus Christ forgave sins and received worship. If He wasn't God what would that make Him? He is God in the flesh, or as John 1 explains "The Word made flesh"
