as a devout PIONEER fan, i find this to be of paramount interest. thank you for uploading it. i have the CLD-3030, the U.S. version of the CLD-99S seen in one o0f the commercials. i also have both the PD-M6 and the PD-M90X, both also seen on this video. i would love to find a copy of this LD somewhere, any possibility that you may be able to help me find a copy? BTW, i am an ex- AUDIOKARMA member, and a current member of both SOUND THINKING and STEVE HOFFMAN. my username is "MACGYVER" on both.
Finding this LD was a fluke just within mere hours before an auctions end I bid and won it over two other bidders.
It seems to be pretty rare. I have never heard of it before discovering it at auction.
I doubt you could find another copy as this is probably as rare as it gets, but I never say impossible. Some of the rarest things pop up when you least expect them. Sorry I could not be of more help.
But I have done my best to share it with the World. Side 2's material coming soon!

I think this was an inner company performance/demo type Laserdisc. Probably displayed at stores, and company events. I do not believe it was sold to the general public. Hard to say just how common or uncommon this would be in a non-employees possession. Since side 2 shows how they produced Laserdiscs and other PIONEER innovations from that era I suspect it was aimed at instore LD and monitor display setups. May have been produced with original Japanese language.
I think PIONEER was use on Hollywood movies?

From an ex-Pioneer employee '77-81, glad to see some Pioneer history. EXCELLENT! I've never seen this before.
