if we look at all socialist or communist countries to date: their citizens live in a society that is corrupt and in poverty. being a vietnamese, one such way to think about communism is through the story of the vietnamese boat people. if communism was all that it was cracked up to be, why did so many flee to the sea in boats that often broke down or were raided by pirates? often, people on broken down boats resorted to cannibalism to survive and thai pirates would come steal and rape and murder.
@motov80 i agree with your comment but at the same time disagree with it, because back then the americans had a fear of the communist spreading their ideaology around.
@psynumb nothing really scary about it, but if you look at most countries that are communist, they've had wars with other countries to enforce this change, such as Korea, Russia, Vietnam, not too sure about Cuba though but another thing is that the communist countries usually have a dictator ruling them and sometimes the country lives in poverty.
why do america and britain underestimate every other country! and all they do is drop bombs!!
