You are right sir, the pads aren't secure but they don't fall out of place. The trouble with this pad was that the pads weren't springy enough so you couldn't play some of the fast songs. No need to be hating, if you can do better, by all means. Learn from my mistakes.
I have a question on the diy dance pad instead of sheet metal can you use foil instead?
