  • is this the maple one? steel?

  • This is the maple one correct?

  • This is the maple one correct?

  • Nice snare but you should for sure get some drum toners for it to eliminate the ring.

  • legit snare.

  • I just Bought the bigger version of that :)

  • nice pop, and ring.

but i like the mapex black panther snare alot more.

  • @1000000jackpot777 i do too. in fact: Chris Adler uses a Black Panther snare drum that has the same dimensions as this one, and it sounds similar.

  • Our drummer's getting this. It's still on back order though... Damn.

  • sounds tight :)

  • Yaa imma agree.I like tha overtone hella!!!! a gewd head that forme proves well wit this snare is tha evans ec reverse dot. tha mutha lickker sings like barbra streisand wen shes commin lol but id say tha overtones r wat makes this snarre sound soo alive an great =)))

  • awesome, i like the 13x7 one tho, i love the depth

  • Excellent snare. Im selling mine though D: I have to get money for a synthesizer :D

  • get some moon gels and it will probably take the ring down

  • damnnnn i wish i had a snare that sounds like that looks like im going shopping >:D

  • sounds less ringy in person, played one today. def worth the 200

  • @boibad12 i caught mine on sale. 175 xD

  • @Jeffo787 lol I got mine for 100 bucks

  • @TheAark probably used! lol either way, its worth every penny

  • @Jeffo787 got mine for 20 buks only been used like 3 times :D

  • @boibad12 mine was never ringy and I never used any muffling, it's just a matter of tuning

  • nice nice nice dude... :) like how u tuned it up really high thats how i like my snares.

  • I don't know about other people, but I love that ring! Sounds AWESOME man! I want one!

  • @DrummersRock23 finally! someone that actually likes the ring

  • @Jeffo787 to me ring is important and I love it too also if you play in a band with a dead head it will sound awful, however if you play it with a ring.... WOW it will sound awesome, maybe in a studio, or when you play alone, maybe in that situation you should stop the ring

  • love it :)

  • some moongel and that after-ring is history...it sounds good!

  • Overtone like a BEAST. . . looks like u need a zero ring or moon jell to dampen that ho! lol other than that nice man

  • or if u tune it right you wont get that ring out of it

  • that sounds sick!!!

  • i think that it sounds pretty good.

  • breee...

  • fuck that

  • I see why they call it "squealer". Personally it hurts my ears, how can you play with that thing?

  • i prefer to tune little squealer really high

  • i just got mine for christmas and i LOVE it. you can crank it up high or have that thick snare sound.

  • Love the sound, but cannot stand the ring.

  • but u coud always get a ring for the head

  • What actually caused it to be so ringy? Was it just because you have it tuned so high?

  • nah, its just like that

  • actually, what is it made out of?? the type of metal might make it ringy!!

  • it has an 8-ply hard rock maple shell

  • oh...maybe thats why...lol i was expecting it to me a metal snare drum!

  • @xxpbdudexx its the mostly the head

  • @Jeffo787 Or try another head Remp P3 maby

  • i would highly recommend moon gel! it works just as good if not better than a ring and without the buzz.

  • if your looking for a cheaper way use a credit card it works better then a moongel in my opinion.

  • Throw some moongel on it! Normally hate that stuff, but that thing has some wicked overtones.

  • Want this in 13x7

  • that thing is ringy a fuck!

    ... i think i like it (-:

  • I have one. Great drum.

  • Would make a good side snare

  • nice snare nice snare

  • whats your drum head?

  • it still has the factory head on it

  • damn... that's like the perfect amount of ring :]

  • that ring is vicious.

  • bad ring is it camera

  • it might be

  • haha i thought you outside untill i realized t was carpet.... the snare sounds great.

i just bought one, waiting for it to come in.

  • i didnt buy that on beause of the acute sound right after the hit, insted i bought the 7"x13" piglite,

  • dude im looking for an avenged sevenfold/ kamelot sound from my snare... i own this one as well and right now its tuned 2 full turns on the bottom head and 1 and 3/4 on the batter head starting from finger tighten... how would you say i should tune my snare?

  • I love the crack sound that you get from this snare. I'm getting one for christmas. I can't wait.

  • This is good for a side snare??Help!!!:)
