  • Jeremy's facial expersion at roughly 1:45 cracks me up! =D He was so expressive, all those slight or sudden face movements. I find them so cute. :)

  • I never really noticed that until your brought that up. LOL He has that 'oh please' look. I love JB's subtleties.

  • Couldn't Jeremy just make you cry?

  • this is soo cool!

please upload a scandal in bohemia..

he looks very well with adler..

  • I don't think there is a finer Holmes-video than this one. The delicate music is fitted into the images with wonderful subtlety, and it suits the character and his world exactly. Applause to you.

  • Thanks so much for the positive comments from everybody!

  • true dat!

  • Jeremy Brett is the most exquisite Sherlock Holmes there is/was. You captured the show so well :)

  • I've been wondering about this for the longest time - does anyone know that piece of music Holmes is playing at the end of the video? (It's from the episode a Scandal in Bohemia, I know that much) Is it something the writers composed specifically for the show, or is it something famous? If anyone knows, please tell me!

  • Well, it you are still here after 4 years, I can tell you it's the tune to the song Irene Adler sang in the episode, which is an operatic aria by Handel: "Art thou troubled? Music will calm thee" very appropriate for Holmes :-)

  • This is wonderful! I really like how you executed this. Brava, brava, bravissima!

  • I'm so glad you like Holmes! This is wonderful, I'm totally impressed.

  • that was very good, the scratches at the beginning add to the atmosphere. i cant help but smile when i see brett playing holmes he does it too well. i never get tired of his expressions and style.

  • At the end of the video, I have the music. It is by Maurice Ravel and it's called "Piece en Forme de Habanera." I don't think there's an exact one on iTunes but there are versions of it there. I got mine a LONG time ago from BMG off an Encore CD (which they used to promote releases of classical songs off new albums).

Glad you like it! Thanks for your lovely comments.

  • Wonderful...you managed to keep the mystery

    made me want to watch....

    I too love the music!

  • I really really like this, even though I've only seen part of the actual movie.

And what is the music you used in this?
