I put on the RKH hub and blade grips today. Once I did that my heli wouldnt fly straight AT ALL. It lifts off and goes hard left and forward. I adjusted the trim and maxed it out and it still wont keep front flying all crazy! Did you have to make any adjustments to the servos or anything when putting on the new hub and blade grips? everything else is stock. I have the swash on its way as well. Everything is free and not catchy so I am not sure what the deal is...any ideas? Thank you.
didnt have same problems you had ,perfect fit and all went in straight away 1st time ,only thing the fins have costed already 2 tailrotor blades ,for the res its pretty good and it flies more solid as stock head
cant wait for outdoor test if its nice outside and not raining
@DirkME1022 gonna have it wednesday ,and will have the new mia hughes 500 army version ,,the orange one looks to plastic ,,coastguard one i rather had ,but the army one has better paintjob so i ordered that
gaetanboiv has a nice collection of different fusekages ,and how to build and install
@bassax7045 Then I got to wait for Wednesday to come to see your brand new Blade 120SR or better Huges 500 Helicopter :-)) I am really looking forward, hope the conversion goes smooth and quick :-))
@pj1980123 Look at the link below the video, or the link in the beginning of the video, or just do a search for rekonheli :) I can not post a link in the comments.

Was it a pain to adjust the new swashplate? I've read some forums about people having problems trimming it in.

I guess that in July 2011 they are not making or distributing these upgrades since I can't locate them on the net.

I really appreciate someone going into such depth with these heli parts - simply because they cost so much

Nice video. Great flying. Upgrades look nice, sometimes I think the carbon fibre is over rated. Seems brittle and unrepairable.

Great review, thank you..... When can we expect you to see a steam powered heli from you LOL. Keep up the excellent work.

The full upgrade kit costs as much as a new RTF sr120!! You could get a Blade 400 with D6xi radio RTF for the SAME price!!!
tim22100 1 year ago
@tim22100 you're missing the point. I agree it is costly, but upgrading and modding is just as fun as actually flying!
