what does he use to set his cue points? do you just use tape or is it something special

really all you do, and its a standard practice, is to place a little sticky note thing. its a little circle, a sticker, and place it right on the border of the groove on the record that the cue point you want. When you push play and set the needle to where it will hit the sticky, the turntable will be going forward forcing the needle to slide on the side of the lil circle sticky and eventually land on the groove that you want to play.
