This is (one of) the specials where Sony used my "Montgomery" font (which I made when I was 15) without my permission. I wrote them about it and they sent back, essentially, a "screw you" letter. Not exactly the best PR, especially when they're trying to reach a younger audience...

Possibly Dick Sargent, who I understand was the original choice for Darrin but was tied to another contract. Dick York's back problems led to production delays so from a practical point of view, both Elizabeth and William Asher apparently preferred Dick Sargent.
