PayPal will fuck you over if they can. They couldn't recover the money from my fraudulent seller so they took it from my PayPal balance putting it in the negative, meaning I wouldn't be able to pay with PayPal until I cover the amount they wanted back. You can't delete your account with negative balances. I got out of the situation by paying it and then getting the fuck out and then disputing with them with my bank. I got it all fixed, but it was a huge mess. FUCK YOU PAYPAL!

This is a little off topic but I've had problems getting my Norton 360 rebate from Symantec!

They kept giving me excuses why my rebate was invalid. But I told them that the postcard they sent me thru the mail is a legal document and can be used in court!

Finally my rebate was okay and I received my rebate! You can google Norton Rebate Scam to read about more complaints!

paypal can suck my dick. I sold a $300.00 cellphone for $130.00 on ebay. and paypal hold my payment. I shipped the item to buyer. he recieved it. and now I dont even have money. and buyer has the item

PayPal is a company owned by eBay. eBay is known for ripping of their customers. They will not work with their customers nor will they talk to you. They have sent me emails telling me that they don't even have phones. They owe me over $150 and have since they closed my account over 3 years ago and will not return my emails about it.

It will be difficult convincing buyers to drop their paypal account, however what is there to stop them also having Moneybookers and Google Checkout - all this can do is open their buying options, especially as more and more sellers are dropping paypal AND their ugly sister, ebay.

I hate Paypal, all they do is block your account for no reason, i can't pay anyone after that has happened. Thanks a lot for the video it made me happy to know there are some people who disagree with their payment policy and yet there are so many people out there who prefer it, because of them i am never able to buy anything online!

Do Not Use Paypal! Paypal puts hold on payments on anyone who has less than 100 positive feedback & selling items more than $100. Also, if you are new on Ebay, Paypal will hold your payment if it's over $100 for 21 days. USE MONEYBOOOKERS and ProPay!!!! You will be a lot happier! If we sellers all fight together, then we will win, otherwise Paypal will always be the "only" payment method for the buyers. I will offer discount to anyone use Moneybookers, and not using Paypal.

um paypal is better. Paypal offers services to every company where as google check out only offers to the US and UK.Paypal is more trusted by the majority of people. Ebay is a big factor here.I have never had a problem with PayPal have been using it for a long time now. To say Google Checkout is better is no right because first of all its a fairly new product so ofcourse no one has had problems with it yet. PayPal rules.. Maybe Google Checkout will be better one day but not now it isnt.

paypal sucks. I was a customer since 2003 and they screwed me out of $15.00 lousy dollars and out of principle I attempted for two months to get a reversal. Dealing with the cretins in the no service department only convinced me more that I didn't need to be their customer. Don't settle for poor customer service.

If you are an international customer try calling customer service on the phone. I've been trying to get a hold of customer service because they froze payments just because they are "investigating" even when cuastomers are totally satisfied and have no clue about the hold. After 30 minutes on hold on a international call i gave up. I've tried more than 10 times to get somebody on the phone without success.

attention: if your not selling expensive items ( $100+ ) and/or dont desperately need the money, then you do not need paypal....have them send you a check....you wait a week or two...big deal...also, they pay the postage for the check and you dont have to give ebay another sellers fee in the form of paypal transfer fee.....

"Anyone Else Get an Email from a former PayPal Employee?"

It appears as though a former employee has left PayPal with the database.

Just more PROOF! PayPal is NOT safe, NEVER has been.
