  • I believe Thoth Hermes, signifies the stork, or pelican giving food of Thoth to the offspring.

  • This is like the most amazing enlightened description of Hermetics I have found minus my extreme mentor which you have very much alike energy equations. I am too discovering my Hermetic self. I will send you the website of the magick teacher I am talking about. His mind is organized with healing in mind and it is very true to what I know as well.!! Good work, with all of that passion. Namaste.

  • this host is undeniably a literary scholar and im sure has put in years of study, but i strongly feel that a lot of what he is saying is misinterpreted. this guy is a machine for information, but he is no alchemist. He's all logic/left brain/masculine. He's more likely spent more time reading esoteric books, accumulating data. True alchemy is a spiritual work. the catalysts differ for each alchemist, but the order of awakening seems to be the same for us all. its not acquired, its activated

  • The ibis is a crane... Look up Pillars of the Boatman and Esus... He is pictured with three cranes perched on a bull... Esus was part of the Gaulic Trinity Teutates, Taranis and Esus... Thoth is also Tehuti... so he could be Teutates as well.. Or all three... Wednesday is OdinsDay... in Spanish Miercoles... MERCURY! So Thoth is Odin... Just as Venus (Viernes) is Friday (Frigg).. I view him/her as NEUTRAL... Where all the true power really is... The UNSEEN controller.

  • Thoth.. I learned, is symbolized in part by an ibis because it must be still for long periods to catch fish. And when water's still you can see your reflection like a mirror (clarity of thought)

  • Another great show!

In the Mythos I series by Joseph Campbell, he demonstrates how all the Abrahamic religions are based off Hermetic Philosophy.

Will definitely read your book. I brought Secret Teachings a couple months ago. Have not gotten around to reading it yet. Seeing this series will probably help me understand better what I am reading it.

I am reading "Not In His Image" by John Lash right now. I am on the 3 chapter.

    I am a slow reader.

    Anymore reading recommendations?

I would suggest reading Secret Teachings, taking your time to actually reflect on its content along the way. From there find a "new age" book or something similar and spot the occult messages that they try to slip past the casual reader.

The Mysteries are the key to understanding the endless machinations in our world that appear to pop up out of nowhere.
