  • Blazing epicness.

  • amazing .. thanks for sharing .. god bless

  • Just absolutely LOVE how Plant sings -"Oh Jimmy!" at the end of this song and fades. Plant is the best a true living legend !

  • listen to his new song-angel dance still king of cooooool

  • someone post to my profile a link for the guitar tab PLEASE!

  • Security !!!

  • am i the only one that notices that he says "Ohhh Jimmy" at the end??

  • @nevernever4ever Yep, he does say "Oh Jimmy" at the end. The Zeppelin slash crowd LOVES it...

  • ...oh aha i'm one of them XD

  • dang i missssss thisssss sssong... they wont play it on teh box here anymoar :(

  • The track used for this video is the original 1993 recording of "Calling to You" from "Fate of Nations", later re-released on "Nine Lives" and "66 to Timbuktu". Pete Thompson was the drummer for most of the tracks on "Fate of Nations". Michael Lee (R.I.P.) and the rest of the cast is miming to the original.

  • I know the reason why this wasn't massively commericially successful. They were in the throes of grunge, and as far as the record companies were concerned, if you weren't a whiny bitch who can't play or sing for your life, then they're not interested in promoting.

  • To me this is great music. Now why wasn't this a huge billboard hit?? I just don't get why his solo stuff hasn't been massively commercially successful. Musically and artistically its amazing.

  • Calling to you was his last powerfull gasp at was once the beast that was Led Zep.I love this song, brings me back to '76.He is and always will be rocks golden god.

  • Very erotic! Another wet panti release for the Zep's Plant!

  • what a rockin beat in the beg.and those vocals on fireeeee

  • LEGEND

  • Awesome song, oddly enough its the only good track from FATE OF NATIONS. After such a great CD as MANIC NIRVANA this was the beginning of the end of my affair with his career... Great swang song, though.

  • @trinitario99 I like their solo albums, but i agree "fate of nations' lacks the bombastic energy of "manic nirvana."

  • @trinitario99 His work with The Strange Sensation is fantastic.

His vocals over the last few years are stronger & purer than ever before--even stronger than his days with Zeppelin. He sounds phenomenal these days...

  • @HallowedHoly "i can breath again"

  • @trinitario99 Too bad for you, then....

  • The golden god does it once again.... : )

    With fire & flames blazing....

    MYTHIC.

  • Yyyyyaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

    YES.

  • beyond words...♥

  • drummers: what beat is this? 6/8? it's very nice.

  • Shortly after seeing Plant tour Fate of Nations, I became aware of Francis Dunnery. Take note of the name, and search him out. You'll see why Plant sought him out for guitar duty. Dunnery already enjoyed a healthy, yet somewhat obscure musical history through the prog-rock band It Bites, as well as solo work.

By the way, this song and video kick butt! Thank you, MusicHead, for posting it!!!

  • After aquianting myself with Plant's solo albums, I began to recollect a vague memory of seeing this video on MTV when I was only 13. I wasn't even sure if it was Plant. I only had a dim memory of a flaming ball.

Finally, someone put it up. After 16 years my search is finally over...Thank you.

  • Eh before Now and Zen it was kinda lame.

  • my "IS" ... wtf!? lofl boy did i fuck up!

  • my is fav song from "Fate of the Nations". :)

    Rise & Shine Michael Lee

hmmm ... i'm starting to suspect klipsch540 is a Zep fan. lol btw ... i'm fan of the old Klipsch speakers!

  • this is the ONLY good song on FON.

  • It's definitely the best. I wouldn't say the ONLY good one though..

  • Tuve la Gracia de ver la presentación en vivo del cd Fate of the Nations en Argentina . Simplemente Impresionante. Arte. El mejor cantante de Occidente.

  • Check this live in Rio 1994 among other great ones!

  • one of my favorite concerts

  • Very fuckin' Heavy Song. The performance of the late Michael Lee on the drums Is very furious. Hipnotic Rock!!

  • @kalungarocker . It's actually Pete Thompson on the track, they used the original Fate of Nations recording to make the video

  • Love the violin at the end. Very twisted sounding.

  • Now this was a very good song! we love ya plant!

  • Robert Plant's solo stuff is awesome! Very Zeppelinesch

  • awesome, powerful... we should think about adding solo works to our set list...

  • The man has never lost an ounce of his power, it's just phenomenal!

  • THANKS FOR POSTING
