@blahk04 as opposed to one of the most violent cities in the world rio de janeiro and way more corrupt than Chicago. Subways and airports are not even half of what chicagos are. Chicago should definitely bid against, this time make sure there are no cities from africa or the middle east bidding... because the only reason imo that chicago lost was because of the "never had the olympics in this continent" card that Rio played.
@chicagoguy19 Not that, but also the master plans for Rio 2016 involved improvements to things such as the subways and increases to infrastructure in the city, whereas most of Chicago's would have been purely temporary. As much as I'd like to see Chicago bid for 2020, or Denver for 2022, I really think it was Rio's time.
US has not had since 1996 so it our time after RIO. Chicago or Dallas or even Detroit(not Likely) but as long it in the states.
