  • Space X Dragon is wonderful replacement of the Ares 1. But what will replace the Ares V? I look forward to NASA's Jupiter rockets. Hurry up NASA ! Let's please leave LEO at last before 2020 ! Let's go somewhere ! Get the public excited again about space !!!

  • Woa... a propulsive landing? That's great!

Doesn't seem very efficient though, as doesn't it require a significant amount of fuel?

  • @roidroid oh wait, it won't be wasteful if it also doubles as the launch abort system. Didn't think of that.

i guess that's why you're talking about it in a video mostly about the launch recovery system eh? ;)

    niiice

  • Extremely impressive.

  • @joachim2464 @sirachman cheers for reply

  • Falcon 9 can lift about 10000 kilograms to low earth orbit. A space shuttle can lift about 24000 kilograms to orbit. Double of the falcon 9. but the falcon 9 heavy version will be able to lift about 32000 kilograms. About 8000 kilograms more than the shuttle:)

  • How big ca$h difference is between SpaceX launch vs. NASA Space Shuttle launch? Can SpaceX rocket lift more weight into orbit than the space shuttle? thanks for reply

  • @sebastiansz shuttle costs around 800m-1b per launch while the falcon 9 costs less than 130m

  • awesome
