Get the itouch 2g because they are not making new hardware, only new software(the iPhone 3.0 software update) Also, get the 16 gb one, that is what I have and it is great!

150+ songs

and about 7 videos average leghth is 5 minutes

and i have about 200 MB left

so i would get the 16 gb

BUT

200 apps is a lot of apps and u probaly will get bored of some and end up deleting
