i hear sarah palin, there goes all legitimacy of the tea parties which would NEVER happen the bush administration. And why can't people on here type? People, our economy and the path our country takes is a very important issue at least try to sound like you are somewhat educated when representing your side of the argument. These tea parties were just FreedomWorks' and Fox News' attempts to rally the disillusioned.

The criticism has been based on political position and life style as opposed to any polies she has made. Obama has lived up to zero promises to date, and gave billions to millionaires with no strings. How is that building an economy. Anyone with any sense knows that a gov cannot build anything. The gov engineered this economic crisis to create dependancy. Does Obama encourage independance? I think not.

Liberty from the government. Freedom of choice. Freedom from tyranny. I could name each thing that the government has taken from both of us. But there are too many. Freedom of privacy(patriot act), freedom of choice (drug war), freedom of property(income tax), etc. We don't need the government to run our lives. Freedom is a better thing to have than all the so called beneficent regulations.

the change- a much better budgeted military budget without ridiculous laser projects designed to defend us from imaginary space invaders 50 years from now and my fellow troops in the desert are being issued the armor they need. Diplomacy with nations that for as long as i have been alive that have hated our country. Extraction from Iraq were we should never been in the first place and reinsertion into Afghanistan where we needed to be since 2001.

Ummm ... well we're STILL in Iraq. We're going to leave up to 50,000 troops there AFTER the draw down (about 40% of what we have now). We're going to send at least another 20,000 troops to Afghanistan. Obama's draw down in Iraq is exactly the same as what the Iraqi government drew up over a year ago!

People are saying that Obama is spending 9 trillion to fix the very problem that Bush was responcible for. Yes Obama is spending to much but if he didn't then it would have been much worse. This means the people who do pay their taxes are paying for the "houses" (sticking to the previous example) of people who dont want to get off welfare or refuse to get a job.
