Great version, Bill .... Davey / Davy Graham is one of my all-time favourite guitarists ... so versatile. I listen to "Folk, Blues & Beyond" all the time. Sorry also to hear of the passing of Bert Jansch, who did a famous cover version of Anjii / Angie.
Tell ya what i've looked up alot of versions of this song and besides Julie London herself this is by far the best. Very very good flow throughout the song
Great playing. One of my favourite LP's that's still in my collection (bought way back when I was a sprog) is Davy Graham's first release 'The Guitar Player' on the Pye Golden Guniea label. 'Cry me a river' was - and probably still is - one my all-time favourite melodies. Wonderful to hear your version. Thanks.
Today I discovered your channel here. Very nice, thanks for all the resources, instructions and the songs, much appreciated really, a true source of inspiration for a beginner.
Love the old standards. Nice job Will. I've been stuck on this video for days. Even got to chedk out the Julie London version. Hate to say it but she really is better looking. ;-)
Great selection, nice arrangement. I'll get it sooner or later.. Thanks.
I have to say I like this better than Davey's(quality of the recording is better) nothing against Davy.
