    LOVE this song :)

  • GREAT!

  • love it!!!!!

  • The band members are wandering through the night with flashlights, kinda like how people wander through life without being able to see and trying to see things clearly. People distract themselves from the foreboding thought of pointlessness in many ways, which are represented throughout the video;Taking advantage of others (the stealing of the toy car), tragedy (the car wreck), entertainment (the kids watching the fire on the screen, which seems to be a subtle reference to the fact ...

  • its to late to change your mind, you let laws be your guide

  • REPEAT again and again for me love ur work guys :)

  • questo duo farà strada, davvero bravi

  • @fabiett77 Lo penso anche io. Niente di che a livello di sound, ma sono quello che cercavo da tempo. :)

  • never get bored of this album. Quality stuff.

  • wow. this video is real deep. its symbolising his road accident, the toy car, himself as a kid, crashing into the foot, acting childishly/driving recklessly, the fire, the pale-horse(death).. but without its rider, indicating near death.. and the lyrics match too, 'you let laws be your guide'

  • @lwp22 I thought it was "you let loss be your guide"

  • very relaxing song :)))

  • Owning that kid well done :)

  • Such a sweet tune. Heard this late on tv last night. Amazing how things happen.

  • I liked Broken Bells way more than I initially thought I would. I love the Shins, but you can't and shouldn't compare it that much to this.

  • REAAAALLY love this song.

really HATE disabled embedding. makes it hard to SHARE!!!!!!! no wonder it's only got 8,000 views. Does Sony even want them to make money or what.

  • brilliant tune,Troggs melody at end of song !!

  • love this!!!

  • I do miss The Shins and wait in excitement for a new album, but wow this collabaration really does work, two genius' in one band? AMAZING!

  • new shins album coming out soon right?

  • Probably not for a couple of years or so yet. James was exhausted with the touring and them becoming a more popular band, so put them on indefinate hiatus. But he has send he's enjoying his time doing this project with Danger Mouse, and is using the time in Broken Bells to influence the next Shins record! :)

  • sweeeeet

  • Wow the lyric are fanatastic, and the video are very great ¡¡¡

  • this video is also really powerful. like when they see the fire on the screen and the people sitting on the floor with sticks and i think marshmellows on them. it reminds me of drugs; you see things that arnt really there.

and the car accident and how devistated he is seeing himself i think back then and then again like he made a big mistake and he has to relive it. could be the effects of drugs.

then again, im not too sure myself.

  • "drugs"? what? lol That's painfully unspecific :/ What it reminds you of drugs stores? :S

  • @Scapetti

well its the video really, because everything seems like a hilucination in a way. And the lyrics "she curls her lips on a bow" and "come on and get your overdose"

but i really dont know, just my oppinion.

  • Hmm, it's just that you can say most music videos are about drugs... it's a really simple analogy. And besides... not all drugs are hallucinogenic :/

  • This is a great song!!!!!!!

  • very very good

  • Amazing stuff!

  • nice, i like the dreamy atmosphere of the video.

  • Inderdaad, this video is awesome.

  • preeetty good
