As a matter of fact, I am a substitute teacher at a high school that is full of minority students. I have been there for over a week and will be there for at least another week. Yesterday we decided that to be film day. I started showing this great movie and the kids are into it, big time! Sometimes it pays to be old, like me, because this is one of the greatest movies ever made, like you said! This should be considered in the top three influential movies ever!

this movie is tremendous and should be used in all schools to show how respect is earned, given and shown no matter what colour, creed or sex one may be.

this is my personal all time favourite film - PURE CLASS!

@casacristeva Unfornately casacristeva in todays politically correct world, rap lyrics are what youths today since 1990's and look what we have; most minorities have arrest records and STD's and 40-50% of white youths ape them and get the same results in police and STD's. If you preach out to the world don't listen to rap, the black/latino and leftist groups will call you racist/bigot.

I cry each and every time I hear it. I was a little girl when I first saw this movie. It began a life long crush on Sydney Poitier. One of my absolute favorites. And now I dedicate this song to my wonderful Mentor, John Gorman. With deep and everlasting affection.

i was 12 when the movie to sir with love came out. i had a crush on judy geeson, but loved lulu and her voice. this is a tremendous collage of pics and great quailty sound, nice job in putting this together and best of luck in the future with subsequent posts!!
