That was way excessive usage of the Sapper shots.

Just a theory but...I've been told that Arc Charger (secondary) shots are good for killing Leapers/Rollers in the first place...but I bring this up because the Steelhead early on does well to stick back..so the arcs could go through the lesser targets and hit him too. I'd imagine that could prove effective.

Otherwise, very nice handling of the lower level.

The Splitter..I've yet to figure out exactly how to properly apply this weapon..

you can find the the arc charger at the northen command you know when youm are close to the tonnels i think i found it at the mission no way out in a room before a giant snake destroy the walls and make a tunnel

Also, another unrelated tip is the use the bulleyes or the reaper on the frog, leaping chimeras. With the bulleyes, you have two options.

1) Tag each leaper and then let the gun rip.

2) Press the L1 button to tag a particular spot where the leapers tend to land. While holding down the L1 button, press R1 to fire a swarm of bullets. The bullets will hover like electrons around the tag. The leapers will land on those bullets and die.

when u make the bullets hover u can use them for special "tricks" by launching another tag which will guide all the bullets and will kill any target tagged instantaniously.

You have the arc charger that'll kill them all. This is one of the easiest levels in the game if you use the right weapons at the right places. For instance, he could've just used the hailstorm in the room at 4:15. Or the arc charger on the rollies after that room. The arc bullet will bounce and even hit the Chimera in the end.

At 4:00, I just shoot about two hailstorms into the room, running down the stairs for cover after each alternate fire. It's no big deal because there's a hailstorm clip near the stairs to reload with.

At 5:00, there is an easier, safer, faster, and more efficient way to handle the rollies and that arc charging chimera.

Use the "L1" alternate fire on the first rolling chimera. Then, just aim your arc charger at that same, charred and dead rolling body to blast another arc charge. The arc charge will richocet/bounce from one rolly to another rolly and then finally hit the Chimera too. He gets hit too.

Use the "L1" Alernate fire on the ARC CHARGER weapon, I meant. The arc charger bullet will RICOCHET off one rolly to the next like a dominoes effect until it zaps the arc charging chimera at the end. This is easy because you just need to zap the dead rolly in front of you over and over and over. The charge will automatically leap and hit all the chimercas near to it. That's the easy part. Instead of aming at all the enemies, just zap the dead one in front of you as many times as you want.

In other words, at 5:00, get your arc charger out, use L1 to kill the first one. Aim the arc charger that that first kill that's burned on the ground. Now continue to use L1 on that first kill over and over and over. The arc bullet will bounce around and take care of all the enemies for you, even that last Chimera with the arc gun.

Also, he didn't show it to you, but you can play it safe and just use the sniping gun at 7:00 for all the chimeras. Just wait for them to come up the stairs and snipe them one at a time. You'll have to wait for them, but it's a safer route. Plus, there's a ton of lafareye reloads near that room where the Spitter is located, so you can always reload afterwards.

when facing the bastards with augers, cover is useless, best just cuck granades and use the most powerful, rapid fire gun you have, not the sniper rifle, my friend most conveneantly found out, the sniper rifle is not a close range weapon, by dieing about, 9 times

That's called the arc charger. It has a really good alternate fire. For instance, if you use the alternate fire "L1" on the rollies at 5:00, the bullet will jump from one enemy to the next. It's really efficient in dealing with rollies and zombies because it takes only one or three bullets to kill a swarm. The bullet jumps from one to another.

There is an easier way to clear the enemies, as soon as youy enter the room empty 2 rounds of the Hailstorm and one air fuel grenade, that should take care of a lot of them, then snipe the rest.

Problem with your tactic suggestion:

Ammo is hard to find for the Hailstorm and Airfuel grenades are rare. Better just throw a Frag or a Hedgehog in there and clear it out afterwards.

This level gives me a headache. I'm playing through location select at the moment, and going from checkpoint to checkpoint is annoying. I'm not sure if I can save/load it from a location select game. I know what to expect it's just that he Chimera run up on me, and this 1 guy inside the house by the SlipSkulls Arc-Charged me to death, so I gave up.
