@lilsolo68 sorry bro my stuff is all out right now due to summer and travel alot with the family in the yukon will be up in running in a couple of weeks
@pinoytat93 i wanted to get the xs power charger just for the hell of it back in the day, but i had no idea what prices were, and xs power doesnt list them on their website and everywhere i looked it was like $350-$400 and that is crazy. now xs power has them brand new for $300 out the door. so i am looking into that lol
@pinoytat93 intellicharger and their regular charger, i want to get them both but then again i also need batteries so this will be interesting to say the least when it comes to my build process.
@pinoytat93 yea man i have heard the same thing about irraggi, i saw people getting these huge ass alts from him and there was no physical way it could put out that kind of power, but yea as far as the batteries are thats some good as charge for those things. i wish that my batteries were charged that high but then again i park outside and dont get to park in the garage to charge them. what charger do you put on them ? i was talking to nathan @ XS Power and he was telling me about thier new
@iloveporn412 yea i seen that charger your talking about meade has that charger now .but i got a kinetik 60 amp charger that i bought used on ebay it does the job and chargers the batt over night . lol i use to have a 3 amp trickle charger and that would take like 2 days to charge all my batts yea when you get a chance always try to fully charge your batts makes a hella of a difference and keeps that batteries happy
@pinoytat93 yea man that xs power looks pretty nasty, i am looking at thier batteries right now, but anything above 15 volts for a while is bad for agm's. But they said on a cold start it wont do much harm. i saw that mead has his new alts charging above 15 and he has the D3100's so i dont know how that works. I would go with DC Power Engineering alts or Mechman seems to be putting out some nice prodcuts now but idk how reliable irraggi is now a days. no offense.
@iloveporn412 irraggi is mia now its all good but i been running that mla for about 2 yrs now no issues and my batteries still dont get fully charge i still have to put my trickle charge on them once a week so they can fully charge so i dont think that the batteries are getting fully charge i heard that once the batteries start to get warm thats when they start to get ruin idk will see but the batteries still read over 12.7-13.1 when the truck is off
@iloveporn412 thats on my yukon bro mla was the ish back then but there are alot of other companys out there i would like to try like the new xs power one i think its called vcm
Nice Looking setup, I am currently in a "slow" audio build in my daily driver/work. Its a 1999 G M C K2500 Suburban 7.4ltr currently with a single 130amp alternator with factory dual O E M batteries. I'd like to mount another factory alternator. my question is do i need to split the factory 3 wire plug to both alternators? Sorry if this is Newbie question, but you look like a D.Y.I. as i am. Thanks
i would say check your wiring on your alternator i think there is 3-4 wires on there before i had the mla module i just piggy backed all the wires to the second alt. of course i soldered them too for best contact everything worked out fine but i had the annoying battery light on so i just think its your wiring but once i installed the mla module it was just plug and play hope this help
hello, I also got the same dual alternator bracket from iraggi.
I noticed one thing on my set up that is if I connect the two outputs from the 2 alternator to the front battery. Only one alternator is active and i am able to say this cause I check with my clamp-on amp-meter. so when I connect an alternator to a different battery then they both work. have you check yours or what am i doing wrong?
da batter is full dum ass...at.a 13.1 thats real good..if da car is off....dont over charge are you will fuck up da batter.in a long run

@frankhoova i had this optima for 6 years already and still reads 12.9-13.1 still works perfect no overcharging here and I can be the judge of that.
