Robert Woods is BY FAR the best athlete of the wideout class. Unlike Hunter, most scouts already have him as the #1 in the class, and when he isn't only Prater is ranked ahead of him per Rivals and Scout. None of the guys you posted can run a sub 21.2/46.5 in the 200m and 400m or make an effortless transition to defense as one of the top DBs in the country, like Woods can.

Da'Rick is the only one remotely within the same realm as 5-star guys like Kyle Prater, Robert Woods, Markeith Ambles, and Dillon Baxter.
As far as paying players, no one associated with the program has been proven of paying any of the players. If that's the lame justification you have to use as to why USC always finishes with better recruiting classes than UT, that's sad.
Of course it had nothing to do with UT struggling to finish over .500 to go to mid-major bowl games for the last 5 years.
There are 5-star players that get beaten out by 3-star guys? Sure. Does it happen consistently? No. Last time I checked Eric Berry, Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, were all 5-star recruits and coincidentally every one contributed immediately.
At least my opinion is consistent with what's logical. Apparently out in Knoxville 3 > 5 and 12-13 over 2 seasons is respectable.
And no one has to cheat to outrecruit UT, when you finish with less than 8 wins for 3 out of the last 5 seasons it easy. LOL.

Thank you. Kiffin got almost half that UT class to enroll early; Dooley did next to nothing. Their recruiting class was a result of near a years worth of recruiting by Kiffin and his staff that had these kids already wanting to go to Knoxville and the rest can be attributed to what little staff was retained there. In actuality, Dooley had an extremely limited involvement in their recruiting this year, but hell would freeze over before you could get any Vols fan would acknowledge that.

He didn't quit, he got suspended and then kicked off the team because of academics. Markeith didn't have his priorities straight, he wanted to be an ATHLETE not a STUDENT-athlete. He had every academic resource at his disposable and he still couldn't get it done, he just wasn't motivated in the classroom. Ambles probably would've been better suited staying home at an SEC school where he can devote his attention solely onto football and nothing else.

As well as 63 times more likely to be a victim of forcible rape, property crime, or burglary in the city of Knoxville than you are in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

A higher cost of living means Los Angeles is a more desirable place to live. Because property and land is more desirable, housing is more expensive that's how it works. If you make enough money, which the median income is $13,000 more out here, it isn't an issue. Next to no one wants to live in Louisville or Knoxville it's why you virtually no population growth every year.

CA has a high growth rate because more people are transplanted here then any other state in the nation. Tennessee has a low growth because no one wants to live there, Tennessee is the 7th POOREST state in the US, the median household income falls $10,000 lower than the national average. Major cities are global economic centers that are recognized for being infrastructural, technological, or cultural hubs. They are characterized by world-leading industries, are usually populous, and can be recognized on a map by a consensus outside of hundred mile radius. Knoxville is none of those things, it is not a major city.

Peyton Manning also has the ability to read defenses and get the ball out faster than probably anyone on the planet, Bray doesn't. I saw him at our camp when he came up from San Diego he isn't anything special.
As I said before I'm glad you're happy with your recruiting class, clearly our programs have different standards. Anything short of a top 5 class for us is substandard, to you guys breaking the top 10 is miraculous. Guys like Bray and Hunter would never see the field at USC.

The only reason Bray has a lot of upside, is because he has a huge amount of development to do before he becomes an elite QB, that's not a good thing. Tyler Bray was so unwanted out of high school the only other DI programs that offered him were San Diego St and Frenso St. Bray like the majority of the players UT is recruits would never see the field at USC.

Justin hunter is a four star, and is the best athlete of any in the wideout class. He might not be the best right now, but not one guy you posted is on his level as he can high jump over 7ft with ease.

Robert Woods is BY FAR the best athlete of the wideout class. Unlike Hunter, most scouts already have him as the #1 in the class, and when he isn't only Prater is ranked ahead of him per Rivals and Scout. None of the guys you posted can run a sub 21.2/46.5 in the 200m and 400m or make an effortless transition to defense as one of the top DBs in the country, like Woods can.
See I really don't have to defend our receiving class against the couple 4-star guys Dooley brought in.

Robert Woods is not the best athlete in the wideout class, Justin Hunter is. The kid broke all sorts of high jump records. Hunter runs a 4.40, and could jump over Robert Woods. He might not have the best hands, but the kid is a basketball player in pads. He is sick, you just don't know. Hunter has all sorts of vids on the bet doing crazy stuff.
Rodgers is ranked the number 2 wideout by rivals who is the best in recruiting.

It's why rivals has him as the #1 ranked athlete and ESPN the #1 wide receiver, it's why he could switch over to corner or safety and still be one of the most coveted players in the nation. His athleticism transcends any conventional football position, it even transcends sports; he's one of the premier 200m and 400m sprinters in the nation and has set plenty of records on the track.

There are 5-star players that get beaten out by 3-star guys? Sure. Does it happen consistently? No. Last time I checked Eric Berry, Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, were all 5-star recruits and coincidentally every one contributed immediately.

Thank you. Kiffin got almost half that UT class to enroll early; Dooley did next to nothing. Their recruiting class was a result of near a years worth of recruiting by Kiffin and his staff that had these kids already wanting to go to Knoxville and the rest can be attributed to what little staff was retained there. In actuality, Dooley had an extremely limited involvement in their recruiting this year, but hell would freeze over before you could get any Vols fan would acknowledge that.

Ole Miss is a beautiful place, with the prettiest women, the most fun to be had, and great people. You will not be sorry you chose the Ole Miss Rebels.
